If I could give a 0 star I would

If I could give a 0 star I would! This company did not tell me they were a third party, and then when I told them I have a 4 bedroom home they gave me less then 1000 cubic square feet for our move. When the movers came, they tried charging me double for the rest of it. Forcing us to rent a truck and move the rest ourselves. BUT the worst part...is that we signed up for a 3-day window meaning the truck would be there one of those days. They pushed it to a day after the 3 days and then canceled 30 minutes before they were to be there!! We had to push our closing on our house, forcing the buyers to push theirs, and then push the closing on our new home. We also had to get extra days on our airbnb, we lost the first 2 days of the air bnb, had to extend our car rental, turn our electric back on and pay an extra 3 days for that, oh and since everything was moved late we had to drive in the middle of a snow storm causing us to find a hotel that allowed animals in the middle of the night when they storm got too bad. AND there is nothing that this company could do to rectify any of this until our things were delivered, I was just given the run around nonstop. Well, it was delivered today and I was promised a call back before end of day and guess what...NOTHING! This company is a joke and could care less who they put out. They put us through HELL and could not care enough to do anything about it. They made something that was supposed to be exciting and happy a NIGHTMARE. I would not recommend this company at all to anyone!

Helpful and fast!!

I had a family emergency and needed to move ASAP. They had a truck and crew to me next day at a fair price- cheaper than I could have done it myself with a Uhaul. I had no issues at all. It was quick and efficient.

They are DECEPTIVE, DO NOT recommend this company

DO NOT recommend this company. Native Van Lines are deceptive company, nobody should ever use them for moving. They’re a moving broker, which they did not tell me that they’re give me 854 cubic feet square. The driver left the half items were listed on the contract. When I called dispatch his name is Andrew, he said I have to pay extra money for another space. They’ve wanted to charge extra $3800.00 to additional space. The driver was telling me that my king bed is bigger than. They would tell you that they delivered within five days but I got my stuff a week. I have to get another moving truck to move my stuff they’ve left over and that truck driver charges $1200.00 far way less than what I paid for Native Vanlines, charged $4756.00 and left half of my items like dining table, 7 dining chairs, coffee table, 2 side tables, 2 sofa, 2 ladders, 3 bicycles, freezer and more than 20 boxes. All these items were listed on the contract. However, once the moving company came to pick up my items, that company explained all additional cost I would be responsible for.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company.

The week leading up to my scheduled move date, I verified with Anton and Rachel that I would move on my guaranteed date and that I would be able to pay on pick up day with check. I had signed up for next day delivery, and paid extra to have an exact moving date. The day before my move, dispatch did not contact me until 5 pm, and this was after I had called the company three times throughout the day to ask about my estimated pick up time. Trey in dispatch called me and told me that I would not be able to move on the day I paid for. I communicated that my lease was ending and my utilities for my apartment were about to be shut off. I initially agreed to the pick up option for that very night at 10pm, and the driver I was put into contact with told me he did not want to do it. I told Trey that changing the days did not fit my contract, and that this has been a terrible experience. His reply, word for word, "Well it's better than not moving right?" He would not give me an exact delivery day, and could not answer any questions I had about my move. I later communicated to Brian that I did not want to work with Trey again, and I immediately got a phone call from Trey where he asked me "Hey, are we good?"

Trey initially told me that I would receive a $100 credit for a hotel stay, then had me sign a contract for a later day. Afterwards he told because I signed a "new contract" that I no longer would get the hotel credit. Dispatch told me that my driver would arrive in between 9-10 am, a day after my original move out day. The driver did not arrive so I reached out, and the driver gave an ETA of 2:30. The driver arrived at 2:30 and parked across the street from my address for 2 hours before finally coming over. Native Van Lines contacted me at 2:30 and told me my driver had arrived, and I had to remind them that the driver had not. I received 2 more calls telling me that my driver had arrived, when again he was sitting across the street. There was no communication from Native Van Lines or the driver about what the delay was. When the driver arrived, he told me that I could not pay with check, and he would only accept cash or Cashapp. This was a Saturday evening, no banks were open. I contacted Trey to reiterate that both Rachel, Anton, and himself had told me I could pay for my move with check the day of, and Trey said "I never promised you that." The driver was already loading my boxes (without my permission) and communicated that if I did not find a way to pay that day, he would not deliver my items. Trey also told me that legally, they have 7 days to deliver my items. My father was able to get Cashapp and pay for the move. The driver up charged me by $600 saying that I never paid for next day delivery. Since it was Saturday evening, and no one from Native Van lines would pick up the phone, I did not have a choice. He additionally attempted to up charge another $200 for stairs, however I was able to prove that I had indeed paid for that. He was upset by this. The driver that Native Van lines worked with did not have proper tags on his truck, (the tags he did have, he covered up with my mattress) and has a history of citations under multiple DOTs. His DOT number (as of now) is 4244797.

My entire moving experience with this company was misleading and unprofessional. Do not use them.

Stay away from this outfit

Stay away from this outfit. They are a broker that uses a load board and hopes a driver nibbles.
They didn't secure a truck on the day we planned on a month before. The dispatcher didn't let us know until the night before. We had to get a hotel that they said they'd credit us, they didn't. When the driver finally showed up a day late and after it was half loaded he wanted $600 more than what we agreed upon with Native. He also demanded cash! It was Saturday afternoon so no banks were open. I know that if I didn't fork over $1800 in cash he would throw my furniture to the curb. I ended up downloading a cash app. The truck didn't have a license plate nor an active DOT #. We tried to call the dispatcher, but no answer. He even strapped our mattress to the outside of the trailer. Miraculously the load delivered the next day. These guys are bottom of the barrel.

I DO NOT recommend this company

I DO NOT recommend this company. They’re a moving broker, which they did not inform me. They contracted one company to pick up my items. And another company to deliver my items to the new state. I was informed of the cost upfront. However, once the moving company came to pick up my items, that company explained all additional cost I would be responsible for. Charges for moving my items from my home to the parking lot, cost for packaging, which I was told was already included. And also additional cost for the size of some of my boxes. During the original inventory count, the company took a detailed list of my items. The next day I added a few extra boxes, which they advised of the cost. I paid the amount indicated at that time on the phone with the Rep by credit card. And later I found out they double charged me for those same items adding it to my remaining balance due upon delivery. When my items arrived at the final destination. I received a call asking if a semi truck could access my home. I inquired why, if my items were picked up on a box truck. I was told my items had been transported to a semi after pick up. And I would be responsible for the additional cost to remove my items and place them on another truck to gain access to my apartment. In the end I paid $1050 over the original agreed upon amount. The explanation given was things could change during the process. The General Manager (Brian) and Customer Service Manager (Lily) stated they would discuss this with my Rep (Antone.) However, they could not refund any additional charges. This company and all parties were terrible. This was simply a money grab to charge more along the way. All cost should be communicated upfront and not during the move or at the end. The final straw was my decorative standing mirror that I was charged extra to pack, was broken during that move.

There needs to be negative stars for how bad this company is

I hired Native Van Lines for a recent move and Native hired CITA Van Lines to complete the move. I did have some issues with the move but worked those out with CITA (see my review for them).

Native called me the day after pickup and asked how it went and I told them of my issues. I contacted Native about every other day for an update on the status of my belongings being in transit yet as I told them I had concerns with the company they hired because of the issues I experienced and wanted my belongings back from them ASAP. I would send an email to the customer service representative that I was told was assigned to my move and several times I didn’t get a response so I called their customer service number. On one occasion, I reiterated to them I had issues with this company they hired and wanted to know the status of my belongings as I wanted them back from this company that THEY hired and the representative informed me that if I wanted my belongings back sooner, I could go to their warehouse and sign a release form and get my belongings back that way. So basically you’re telling me I should have never hired you and done the move myself? The last time I called, again because I did not get a response from my email, the person told me my contact would call me back shortly and they would not help me. I did not get a call back but several hours later received a text saying the movers assigned a driver and they would reach out to me. I never received any follow up from Native after delivery. The text saying CITA would contact me was the last communication I received from Native.

Native likes to claim they are just a broker and have no responsibility for what the actual movers do, this is complete BS. Native may just be a broker, but they need to be held responsible for what the company THEY hire does. If they were held responsible for the moving company THEY hire, maybe they’d make better choices and actually care about what happens to their customers. Just because you may not legally have responsibility for those you chose to hire, that doesn’t mean you don’t have responsibility morally and ethically.

Not even following up with their customer at the end of the move tells you all you need to know about Native.

Run don't walk away from Native Van…

Run don't walk away from Native Van Lines.
The first thing Native responds with to any negative review is the cop out line we're just a broker. Might be believable if the name didn't include Van Line. No where on their paperwork does it state they are just a broker and wash their hands of you after your move is brokered. At no time during your initial call do they state they're a broker.
You are not informed at the time of down-payment that you will be charged an additional 5% for paying with a credit card. When you talking thousands 5% equals hundreds of additional dollars that you are not expecting to pay.
You're paying this confidence crew a lot of money to hand off your move to the lowest bid. Then when you're stuffs about half loaded you are hit with cost increases. In my case the bid went from $4039 to eventually at delivery $5902. $400 was added between loading and delivery for reasons I'm unclear on and no one could explain. Never after the down payment was made did I recieve an invoice showing payments or balances. The actual movers wanted cash. Who keeps $2200 laying around to pay workers who don't give receipts upon payment.
This is very shady and super unprofessional.
We have texts from Native stating our final payment was just under $1800 but the mover had a bill for $2200. The delivery, conveniently was on a Saturday when no one at Native could be reached for verification.
Hire your mover directly. Make sure your not dealing with a broker who's just siphoning money for nothing and hanging you with a couple shade tree movers in a raggedy truck.
Our unsolicited movers trashed totes, damaged furniture, damaged our oak floors, damaged antiques of all things. However Native responds to this do not take it seriously. Just look at how they take no responsibility for any negative outcome.
