The electricity at my house stopped…
The electricity at my house stopped working. I called the emergency helpline and was informed that it was a general problem in my area. The customer services (MJ, KJW) and the Engineers kept me updated about the ongoing work and the expected time of reconnection. The communiction kept my mind at peace. I am happy with their service.

I found NGSS friendly and efficient, giving me plenty of information and answering my questions ahead of time and working with me to carry out the installation. Everything has been working fine for several months now, and the work is good quality.
My only criticisms are that they were at first mistaken about how many panels they could fit on my roof, and that they had to come back a second time to adjust the installation due to a missing sensor. Overall, though, I think it went as smoothly as could be expected.

Very professional and knowledgeable team, kept us up to date from initial phone call to completion.
Our electricity bill has reduced by $400, each quarter, has been worth the initial outlay.
Very happy with our decision, would recommend this company to anyone thinking about installing Solar Panels.

Installation of solar panels
National grid support installed a solar system and both the sales experience and the installation were stellar.

The contact was great
The contact was great. Then he disappeared off the face of the Earth. Then the solid solid boys turned up to put the solar on without any notice and I had to come home and be here to help them out. The salad has improved hour energy consumption.

Outstanding help
Just rang these people as no electric at home. I spoke to the most loveliest lady who patiently helped me get it back on (fault of my supplier Utility Warehouse - not a grid issue) Wish I had of got her name, she was fabulous. Thank you so very much
Installation day
The installers turned up on the day early did a great job very neat and professionally done. They ran me through the operating instructions and were very helpful. The Akcome solar panels look a well made and a person from ngss rang within a few of installation to check everything went ok Job well done.

Employee stand point
I was an employee for 3-4 weeks. They gave me minimal training (first time in the role) sent me out to some of the most pathetic and unrealistic sales leads completely unarmed and unsupported. Promised to help me through the initial stages of starting out and, if it didn’t work out, would then help me through a transition period until I found other work etc. I was then called and told the Victorian market wasn’t allowing for more opportunities (basically you’re fired). With none of the above promised, followed through with.
What they will try to sell you is overpriced and once they get your money it will be under delivered upon. As a previous employee, I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.
We felt very pressured by sales person…
We felt very pressured by sales person at the start, wanting us to agree on the spot to a contract. This was uncomfortable and somewhat intimidating. We were told by sales person we could not have the panels on the garage as we would have liked (North facing) and they would have to go on the roof of the house. We had recently had a new roof installed on an old property and were very clear we did not want panels on front of roof. Salesperson told us they could go on western side of roof to which we agreed. Had to chase up 3 times for the design - which showed panes on western side as agreed. Installers arrived with a different design, stating panes would not fit on western side. Pressured on the spot to decide on new design. We now have panels on northern front of gabled roof - looks ugly & ruins profile of house. Luke from Safer Solar called to discuss our concerns but have not heard back from him - 3 weeks ago. Would not recommend - go somewhere else!! & wifi not connected / ugly cement sheet attached to house to support metre.
I'm happy
Our solar panels were installed last Tuesday, 20 June 2023. We had a visit from a representative of NGSS earlier in the year who assessed our power needs based on our electricity bills for the previous 3 months. We chose Kookaburra panels with microinverters – these ensure that the panels operate independently, so if one is shaded the others continue to perform. They also don’t require an inverter box in our smallish back garden.
The installation team were wonderful. They needed to carry the panels and brackets through our townhouse, up and down narrow stairways, and were very careful to keep it clean and ensure that they didn’t damage any paintwork on the way through. They also explained how to install the app, so we can monitor performance. The electrical inspector who came later was familiar with this team and said that he had never experienced any problems with their installation work.
We haven’t connected to the grid through our retailer yet, but NGSS will liaise with them with necessary paperwork. I expect that we will see a reduction of our bills, but our motivation was more to do with shifting as much as we can to renewable energy. The State and Federal government grants are a great encouragement.
The whole process took a little longer than I had hoped for, but was within the timelines explained to us during the first visit.
Very happy
I found everyone from sign up to completion of work to be prompt, polite and respectful. Work done is to a high standard. Would highly recommend this service to friends and family.
worst company ever...

Total Ripoff
Salesman came on 7th November, supposedly signed us up for complete package with micro inverters on each panel,7- 10 khw system supposedly with battery Backup and Government subsidy, and would not be connected until early Jan 2023 !!!!!
Well apparently there is Not that subsidy available now,We have had notification of that fact. It is now February 2023 and we still have not been given/ sent our copy of the supposed Contract or Our System fitted / installed and working . This all breeches the Consumer Law for "Not Fit For Purpose". So our experience so far with this Company is TOTALLY UNRELUIABLE, THEIR PROMISES MEAN NOTHING and Frankly We are fed up and We are now further contacting the Ombudsman as well as the Minister.
We have now moved on and want NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE AT ALL EVER !!!!! Shonky As.
