I am so confused about this brand
I am so confused about this brand. There is never a sales person at the counters of department stores and when there is they are never helpful. But I do get great service at their boutiques. And the albatross is fantastic!
Upsides and Downsides
I have a love-hate relationship with NARS. Their blushes and luminizers like Orgasm and Copacabana are cult classics that give a gorgeous glow to my skin. However, some products are misses - their foundation looked cakey on me and eyeliners didn’t glide smoothly. While the sleek packaging draws me in, the higher prices push me away for daily makeup when comparables exist. In the end, some holy grail items but enough inconsistencies leave me rating NARS a middle ground 3 stars. When they work, I absolutely love them but it's not always a perfect match.

Although there are many good brands available today, Nars has always been and still is one of my favorite brands. I consistently order from their website and I have never had any issues with delivery or products quality.
Faulty product, bad customer service
It was shocking that the lipstick came out suddenly, I have asked for replacement but they said they will check whether it was a external shock and etc, but the lipstick was in my hand and lip and broken in a sec, I have 3 but lost one. Very disappointed, frustrated. Unexpected result for a lipstick £26.50. Won't recommend.
Foundation arrived with less half full
Foundation arrived with less half full. This is the first time it had happened in years but still annoying - I contacted Nars who have asked for photos (pretty impossible from a glass foundation bottle) and for me to fill in a form in order for then to consider further. I will switch to Charlotte Tilbury foundation.

Nars Afterglow in the purple shade is lush and blends beautifully.
Nars the multiple stick is extremely versatile and a staple!
Only criticism I have is their foundations and primers no longer suit my skin, too reactive and they no longer do the beautiful single and high pigmented eye shadows.
Mascara I love how it applies but it falls under my eyes by the end of the day!
Poor after sales service.
I was going to give two stars because of the pleasant sales assistant but having read the poor reviews of other customers I changed it. I bought a lipstick in store I liked the colour but didn't like gloss finish it felt like vaseling on my lips. I contacted customer services as it states on their website that if you are not satisfied with the product to get in touch. They would not exchange or refund the product.
Terrible website and customer service
I decided to purchase directly from Nars instead of through a third party, as I typically do. First the bundle price advertised was not honored in my cart and customer service said I would have to make a phone call to get that price. Then I was notified that only part of my order was shipping, due to out of stock items. Nobody asked if I still wanted a partial order, so it ruined my ability to use the Amex offer on my card and screwed me out of $25 savings. Now I will have to drive out of my way and waste my time returning items, since once again their customer service is not helpful in cancelling the shipment.

Where do I start, first of all you can’t even make ur foundation lid stay on and have the audacity to charge £37?? And I’ve saw many many other people say this so u must be aware is this issue, I’ve actually brought ten pound foundations that have done a better job like generally girls grab urself a nyx foundation or a wet n wild one they’re much better than this!! then your terrible lid on your overrated foundation has just dropped all over my brand new carpet! I’m so upset, i did try to get a new lid incase you try and gaslight me into thinking is my fault but the lady had the shame to tell me I’d have to pay for a new one because I didn’t have the receipt like I’m sorry i wasn’t expecting there to be anything wrong with my foundation as I was colour tested then purchased it so in my mind throwing away my recite was absolutely fine because why on earth would there be complications with a foundation?!, also another slight issue is it’s honestly not even half way full your paying £37 for it and it’s half empty, the only good thing I can say is it is exactly what it says on the bottle light wear foundation no lies were told there.

Best service I’ve had!
I have brown skin with neutral undertone with dual lip tone which makes my hunt for cosmetics a mission everytime. But Mina from Nars Bristol counter helped me find my perfect shade of nude lip shade! She tried every colour of orangey-taupe nudes under the sun, even trying from other counters to increase my chance, until I was certain the Nars lip shade was my one. She really went above and beyond… honestly can’t wait to go back to Nars after this experience. Thanks Mina :)
I would give a zero if I could
I would give a zero if I could. Shocking how bad the service is from Nars UK considering Nars has a great reputation. Put an online order through which I paid £6.50 express delivery. No confirmation email sent and horrible service on the phone to resolve the issue. Apparently cannot find my order. Literally zero answers even though money has been taken out. I would have no idea and would be expecting my order on express but I thought it was strange that no email was sent after my order went through. Please save yourself the stress and time and order from
a reputable website. Shocking!!!!!
Amazing !
Soooo so happy with my purchase. had Dylan serve us who was an absolute angel <3. i was confused about estee lauder or nars foundation. he talked through the nars foundation and its benefits and instantly had me hooked in. i even wasnt sure about the shade so he picked a few and tried them on my face and let me choose the shade i preferred. very friendly and sweet. made me feel at ease. i would have gone with estee lauder if it wasnt for Dylan. Huuuge thank you to the wonderful beauty expert who works on the Nars stand at the Selfridges store in Manchester city centre. I'm so blown away by the customer service I received.
Despite hearing great things about Nars products online, before my trip to Selfridges yesterday, I had never purchased anything from Nars. Following the customer service, help, and advice that I received from Jaylin, I will certainly be back to buy more from the brand. Despite spending an hour in Selfridges’ beauty section, no other beauty stand employee stood out or showed me as much care as Jaylin did. It was so nice to speak to someone who shared my excitement and passion for beauty, who was also so knowledgeable and experienced. I felt like I learned a lot, and was shown some really great products that I may have overlooked if not for Jaylin’s recommendations.
I look forward to many more beauty experiences with Nars, and I’m so happy with the products I purchased on the day. Thanks Jaylin, you're an absolute star!

I had ordered quite a lot products in sale, I didn’t receive my order due to their website being faulty, it hadn’t taken up my house number. When I asked them to repost my order customer service team mentioned it can’t be done. They asked me to repurchase but my products were out of stock as I bought them in sale. I asked them to log a complaint on behalf till today I haven’t received a single email. Also the phone lines apply local charges. Basically I spent the whole of my afternoon sorting their system error from my own pocket. Terrible service!! I would never recommend anyone. MAC are so much better.
