Narrative Reviews

Every shoot tells a story. Narrative exists to help you find it. Narrative speeds up, improves and simplifies the professional photographer’s workflow with smart and easy to use software tools. Narrative founder James Broadbent is a photographer first. As one half of Chasewild, he has shot over 280 weddings across 13 countries — the kind of work that fills hard drives and demands weeks of post-shoot labour. Four days of culling after a single shoot. Offline, on the road, with no tool that understood how he actually worked. So he built one. Narrative was the first AI-powered culling tool built for professional photographers. Most photographers got into this because they love making images — not because they love the hours spent sorting, selecting, and managing files after every shoot. We built Narrative to give photographers back the time and energy for the work that made them first want to pick up a camera. Narrative is guided by a simple belief: interpreting a photographic moment is a human act. Selecting the right image requires instinct, taste, and judgement that no algorithm can replicate. That's why we built our AI tools to support photographers' decisions, not bypass them. Photography, at its best, captures a feeling that would otherwise be impossible to share. That's worth protecting.See more
