new back door

Last month I had new front door , and this month I replaced a very badly warped back door, all with this great company. Gavin was extremely good, great workmanship, very tidy, friendly. I recommend this company.

We replaced our old white patio doors…

We replaced our old white patio doors with stunning, modern black aluminium doors, and the difference is unbelievable. They have completely transformed the room and given it such a sleek, contemporary feel.

We were so impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team that we also decided to replace our old conservatory roof with a new glass roof. It has made a huge difference — the space is now flooded with natural light, and everyone who visits comments on how amazing both the doors and the roof look.

From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Jake and the team were brilliant with communication throughout the whole process, and Gus did a fantastic job fitting the doors. The whole team were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to have in our home.

I genuinely couldn’t recommend N&G Windows highly enough.

JUST AVOID . Obviously not just me looking at other review.

JUST AVOID Really? Unorganised and stressful.

Unorganised office cancelled appointments, but don't even have a decency to phone me.
Taking time out of work as well Which have to make up.

When the windows finally got done fit is turned up only leaving 2 1/2 hours of daylight so I ended up helping them to get the job done before it got dark plus the fitter at to get a third work colleague to come and help.Unbelievable!
plus the fact that to make him feel the gaps in using my own filler.
WILL NOT Be using them again to finish the rest of the house.
Total shambles....☹️

Buyer Beware!

I paid a hefty deposit in early July directly into N&G Window's account for a conservatory & was given a start date of 26/08/25 which was cancelled & re-scheduled for 1/09/25, this too was cancelled & rescheduled for 15/09/25. Enough was enough and not acceptable to me and I asked for a refund. I was called by the son/Surveyor confirming that they would cancel the job and requested my bank details for the refund. I heard nothing so I called again. He had not receive my email & I was instructed to send them again and then just waited. I called the office & was informed that there had been a meeting and that I may have to pay an admin fee, which was a shock to me. I did not know what was going on so I emailed Nick Derry the Proprietor, twice but was not afforded the courtesy of a reply to either. I called my bank today who confirmed the refund, done in early October but not a full refund. I did not get a copy of the survey, they failed to provide information for my Insurance company and the work never got off the ground; charging £500.00 for what? It would have been nice to have had a full refund. This family run company really do need to vastly improve their customer communications.
All I can say is Buyer BEWARE!

We’re very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, and we’d like to provide some context to help clarify the situation.

Our team carried out two site visits to quote and a further two visits to complete the detailed survey (this is for our office to ensure all measurements are correct so we do not leave the customer any of this paperwork as its not needed, everything the customer needs is details in the contract left at the quotation stage). All the technical drawings were produced, signed off, and the conservatory had entered production before the order was cancelled. At that stage, we had already incurred costs with our manufacturer that we were unable to recover.

As stated in the signed contract, deposits become non-refundable once production has begun. However, we still chose to refund the majority of your deposit as a goodwill gesture, covering part of the manufacturer’s costs ourselves.

Regarding your comment about insurance information — this was not mentioned to us at any stage, so we weren’t aware that any details were needed. We would, of course, have been happy to assist if this had been raised at the time.

We fully appreciate that changes to installation dates can be frustrating, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
