I am very disappointed with the…

I am very disappointed with the customer service provided by Nabil Bank.

My mother accidentally transferred money to the wrong phone number/account while trying to send funds to my father. We contacted customer support immediately after realizing the mistake, hoping they could help us take prompt action.

Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating. The staff seemed more focused on repeating scripted responses than actually understanding and addressing the situation. We had to explain the same issue multiple times to different representatives, yet very little effort was made to assist or guide us through possible solutions.

Mistakes can happen, and what customers need in such situations is empathy, urgency, and clear communication. Instead, the interaction felt robotic and unhelpful. For a bank that customers trust with their hard-earned money, I expected a much higher level of customer care.

I hope Nabil Bank improves its customer service training and empowers its staff to handle genuine customer concerns more effectively.

Need to improve on equality and diversity

Good and reputable bank. However, you need to retrain the front desk staff for better customer service, equality and diversity. There's no access for disabled or wheelchair users. This problem should be reviewed seriously. Customers are suffering enough already.

During break time costumers have to wait for until the employee is done with their lunch. Employee should be there every time on rotation basis .
I have to wait for 1 hour for 2 minutes work at the bank. It’s very frustrating and disappointing that Nepals top bank does not have employee on rotation basis

The New Mobile Banking Interface is Displeasing

The new update is so ugly, it's just bold and bigger i don't like it. You should revert it back as it was, small/medium size of the font and icons. It's just bond and bigger now like it's some kinda scammer app. Using the current interface is so uncomfortable. I don't do transaction via nabil bank's mobile banking because it's so uncomfortable while using

Unprofessional customer service

I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the customer service at Nabil Bank’s Itahari branch.

I visited the branch with my sister’s daughter to resolve her Mero Share login issue. Despite approaching multiple customer service staff, none were willing to properly assist. Each staff member casually advised us to try basic steps we had already attempted and then walked away without resolving the issue. It was evident that staff were more concerned about leaving the office than helping customers.

We were left frustrated and helpless until a staff member from the clearance section took responsibility, calmly checked the records, identified an incorrect date of birth entered in the system, corrected it, and resolved the issue. She was the only staff member who demonstrated professionalism and accountability, and we are grateful to her.

Being the last customer or visiting during the last hour does not justify abandoning unresolved customer issues. Such behavior reflects poor training, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for customer service ethics. This level of service is unacceptable from a reputed institution like Nabil Bank.

I strongly urge management to review the conduct and training of customer service staff at the Itahari branch and take corrective measures to ensure customers are treated responsibly and respectfully.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. I tried to deal with the bank regarding my fix deposit which is already mature Despite of I emailed all the needed documents, this bank just try to hold my money and send me the email for video calling which always says queue for long and long hours.

I'm having trouble with my mobile…

I'm having trouble with my mobile banking team every time when I reach out to the team they say they will forward it to the mobile banking team and the call doesn't even get picked up. Its been 3 to 5 times and it's so annoying.

Inexperienced but overconfident staff…..

Was having trouble with online subscription. The staff didn't even know something as simple as a billing address or CVV, had to explain to the staff instead of getting actual help. Inexperience but overconfident staff. Suggested I use my friend's card for purchases instead. Staff didn't understand billing information is not currency conversion and blame dollar instead of his lack of knowledge. At the end didn't help solve the problem. Absolutely frustrating.

Completely unprofessional! Worst experience ever! Extremely bad customer service with zero help!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the…

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at both Kalanki and Kalimati branches of Nabil Bank.

At Kalanki branch, despite multiple visits to pay my university fee, I was repeatedly delayed with excuses such as “server down,” “too many students,” and “work starts only after 3 pm.” Even by late evening, no progress was made. This shows serious mismanagement, poor customer service, and complete disregard for customers’ time.

At Kalimati branch, the situation was even worse. The customer service desk kept me waiting for 10 minutes just to ask about a SWIFT transfer. The responsible staff unnecessarily demanded original documents (citizenship, PAN, passport), while most banks only require photocopies. Furthermore, she was unable to understand Flywire’s settlement instructions (with amounts in both USD and GBP), which other banks like Prabhu Bank processed quickly without issue. This reflects a lack of training, knowledge, and professionalism among staff.

I urge Nabil Bank’s management and the concerned regulatory authorities to take this matter seriously, as such inefficiency and incompetence are highly discouraging for students and customers who rely on timely and accurate banking services.

I am fed up with this Nabil Bank Ltd.

I am fed up with this Nabil Bank Ltd. I tried to opening of remittance account via abroad but rejected by not being of original identicard while in Vedeo KYC. To obtain this account already we have to arrange all identities like Shram Swikriti documents, work, contract papers, visa papers, passport, citizenship but at the end they refused. In some reason we may not have original identity card of passport and citizenship but they didn't consider on it.
Even they didn't response quickly for vkyc!
I am suggesting to everyone not to use this bank.
Sh*t bank policy!

Not to travel to India with Nabil Visa Debit card

My suggestion to all the travelers not to use Nabil Bank Debit cards when traveling to India. I did coplained about overcharing and the reason for extra cost no body could answer. I was compeled to write about this bad experince. I have never had this expereince with Standard Chartered credit card.

Disappointed with the rude staff

I had a very disappointing experience at Nabil Bank, Putalisadak branch today. The staff member I interacted with was rude and unhelpful. She used terms I couldn’t comprehend, and instead of explaining clearly, she repeated the same words over and over as if that would somehow help. When I asked for clarification, she became visibly irritated.

I eventually had to call someone else who had previous experience with the bank just to understand what was going on. This is not what I expect from a professional banking service.

Nabil Bank seriously needs to improve staff training in communication and customer support. Basic courtesy and clear explanation go a long way—especially when dealing with clients who are trying to understand banking procedures.

The worst bank I’ve ever experienced

The worst bank I’ve ever experienced. The staffs in Nabil bank Pokhara has got no manners at all . They gets so annoyed and rude to the customer even just to withdraw our own money. Today my father and sister went to withdraw our own money and one of the staff said, “feri ghari ghari kina ieako hamlai jhyau garna?” . They forcefully let each of my family member to open the account with them. I will not recommend this bank to anyone. Those whoever are the members can just close the account with Nabil bank and go to other best and friendly bank.
