Useless app. Wasted 2 hours of my life before deleting it. 1) The web site doesn't recognise that you're accessing it from a laptop. It presumes you're using a smart phone, without saying so. 2) Checking the FAQ, once set up, it will only verify you on the phone you originally set up your account on. So don't expect to be able to verify yourself if you change phones. 3) it couldn't recognize a face in my selfie, then I couldn't go forward or back in the process - stuck. 4) It didn't allow me to switch to the back camera on my iPhone (the front one is very poor and grainy even in today's bright sunshine). 5) I couldn't use someone else's phone with a better camera, because of problem #2. 6) I deleted the app (this was the only aspect that worked well).

This is the app for checking with American and other airlines. I've tried to use this app for 4 flights and not once have they gotten it correctly. Something, on their end seems to go wrong. There's no chat or real time customer service. I almost missed my flight because they said they get back to you in 4 or so hours. It was 8+ hours and I still hadn't heard from them. And they're really bad at handling an account that has 2 mobile phones. They same personal information doesn't sync...even though all the identifiers are there.
