60+ Days Unlawful Refund Delay - Booking 8XOJUB - Misleading Support
I am reporting my experience with booking 8XOJUB. My flights (UBN-ICN) were cancelled in January. I have received official confirmation from the airline (Hahn Air/Aero Mongolia) that my refund for ticket 169-6056006669 was AUTHORIZED on January 9th, 2026.
Despite this, MyTrip support keeps sending me automated templates claiming they are "waiting for the airline." This is a flat-out lie. I have already contacted Naver Pay and KG Inicis (the payment gateway) in South Korea, and they confirmed that MyTrip has NOT yet initiated the refund back to them.
I am currently living in South Korea and have filed a formal complaint with the Korea Consumer Agency (1372). I am also reporting this as financial fraud to the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS).
MyTrip is illegally holding my 509,285 KRW for over two months. I demand an immediate refund to my original payment method. Do not reply with a generic template; I want a transaction reference (ARN) number.

What a scam. Lies, lies, lies. They promise to manage the booking, but this is a lie. The flights were canceled such that they one left hours before the first flight. Did MyTrip do anything? No. Reschedule a flight? No. Communicate with me? No. This is the dirtiest, most corrupt travel broker on the internet, in my experience.

2 months later I got the refund almost 50% of the money was deducted...I never used the ticket and I submitted all documents as per the rules.

I bought a ticket there from Frankfurt to Canada with 23 kg luggage and seat reservation. Shortly after booking, MyTrip canceled these two options (illegal under German law because they are an essential component; why should you fly without luggage) from the contract. The flight was possible. They were no longer responsible for the rest. They would have to contact the operating airline, in this case WestJet.
Nothing can be done there at the moment because of a “technical error”. There is no more information from anyone. The price for the booked luggage and seat reservation would be refunded. The airline gives you the option of rebooking at some point if the technical error is gone. When that will be, no information. You have to take care of it yourself. You bear the risk yourself.

Kurz nach der Buchung kündigte MyTrip diese beiden Optionen (rechtswiedrig nach deutschen Recht, weil elementarer Bestandteil; warum sollte man ohne Gepäck fliegen?) aus dem Vertrag. Der Flug sei ja möglich. Für den Rest sei man nicht mehr zuständig. Damit müsse man sich an die ausführende Airline, in dem Fall WestJet, wenden.
Dort kann man zur Zeit gar nichts machen wegen "technischem Fehler". Auskünfte gibt es von keinem mehr. Der Preis für das gebuchte Gepäck und Sitzplatzreservierung würde rückerstattet. Es gibt bei der Airline die Möglichkeit, dass irgendwann mal nachzubuchen, falls der technische Fehler weg sein sollte. Wann das sein wird, keine Auskunft. Kümmern muss man sich selber. Das Risiko trägt man selber.

I booked a flight via MyTrip, including seat option and 23 kg baggage. After 2 days, MyTrip canceled both the seat option and the 23 kg baggage allowance. The reason given was a technical error.
In the meantime, I contacted all parties involved (MyTrip, Condor and WestJet) and was told that they were not responsible. Condor's telephone information service, which I contacted twice, confirmed this and referred me to MyTrip as the responsible tour operator.
It is still not possible for me to book luggage for this flight via MyTrip, Condor or WestJet. With Condor, additional baggage must be registered in advance. However, Coindor does not accept this registration, as this must be done via MyTrip (see information from the Condor telephone hotline and email). MyTrip is the responsible travel provider.
I have a legally binding contract with MyTrip. Mytrip has unlawfully terminated two essential parts of the contract (seat reservation and baggage of 23 kg). This means that traveling without luggage is pointless.
Mytrip refers me to Westjet, as there is supposed to be a technical error there. When I try to book something online, I also get a technical error. Westjet writes (see attachment) that there is nothing they can do and refers me back to Condor. Condor refers me back to Mytrip. This closes the circle. This is my last attempt to reach an out-of-court settlement with the three of you. A copy of the correspondence will be sent to the conciliation board and to the parties involved.

You have either sold me something that you don't own and then tried to cancel it illegally, or you are working with two tickets (internal and external). I can still call up my original invoice including ticket with 23 kg baggage on your portal. The cancellation and refund (2 days after booking confirmation) can also be found there, but neither a new invoice nor an updated ticket. However, the service providers Condor and WestJet never received a booking including baggage. I have this in writing from them. What happens now? Do we now write emails back and forth for another 6 months until the flight? I am now trying to book my purchased 23 kg luggage once a day with you, Condor or WestJet. I will keep you up to date.
Cheap turned out to be expensive - terrible service experience.
The prices they offer seem cheap, but that's where it ends.Once you've paid for the card - you're on your own.They don't take any responsibility, even if the website displays a "self-transfer gurentee" policy that seems credible.And the call center agents, there's no nice way to put it, just lie to your face. They can tell you that you'll get an answer within 4 hours, and if you don't call them after two days you'll never hear from them.
In the end, cheap turns out to be expensive.It's recommended to avoid this company at all costs!

They didn't refund a flight that I couldn't get on; airline asks me to reach out to mytrip, mytrip wants me to reach out to the airline. The airline told me my flight would be rebooked if it was directly booked from their website. I'm done using agencies like this that get their cut and do absolutely nothing when you need any help.
Update: The airline reached out to me about just refunding the tax, which is 50 euros; but I have to get it from mytrip and they say refund handling costs 40 euros. What a joke and absolute scam! Stay away, just pay 10 euros more but get the ticket from the airline itself...

I have reached out to mytrip.com to help me out and refund the amount paid for two flight tickets that were cancelled less than 2 weeks before my flight in 2022.
After more than 1 year and a half they pretend nothing happens - I am in contact with their Indian office which basically says that they will help you but never come back.
I have told them many times the airline company was bankrup and that they need to solve this and refund my amount and now they told me to contact the airline company - that does not exists.
They informed me that the flight company went bankrupt and that is bad news for me - good one guys, I think is bad news for you as I paid you for the tickets at that time and you are the intermediary directly responsible to fix this situation.
I would like to open a case in court against this company and ask for the amount I am entitled and damages for the time spent, lies and overall stress created without coming in with a solution in place on time.
I have had my time with you guys, but you are full of lies and lacking below zero the customer service - all in all you seem more like a fraudulent company rather than a legit one so in the next weeks please expect:

Terrible just terrible!!!!!!
I am disgusted with the service I have had so far with Mytrip. My departing flight was cancelled by the airline and therefore was entitled to a full refund. I have checked my refund status online and it shows Mytrip were refunded the money back on the 20th of October from the airline. It then states that once they get the money ‘our current average handling time for refunds after receiving funds from the airline is 6 days’. It has been two months and they haven’t paid back the £740. I have contacted customer service multiple times and keep being told it has been escalated (everyday for as long as I can remember now). This has apparently been escalated at least 6 times now and im on a ‘priority list’ if this is the wait for priority id hate to find out what non priority is 😂. I have received no update or when I’ve asked for a manager there is never one ‘available’ to speak to and all they can offer is them escalating it but never given any contact details when I’ve asked to specifically speak to the ‘back office’ that has ‘lots of back payments’ HAHA actually joke I wish I checked the reviews before booking why are they on Skyscanner!!!! One customer advisor actually lied on the phone the other day saying that jt has been paid and he’ll send a transaction id over in the next 15 minutes. I asked if they had it there why couldn’t they just read it out and that I can already see online it says ‘waiting to process out’. I have attached the ref number, this needs sorting asap or I am going to sort filling a court case I’ve really had enough it is my refund from the airline and not yours to keep. Appalling.

Our flight was canceled prior to our trip and we have asked for a refund but no money in sight. When calling support they hand out any excuse available, telling me that they can’t get a hold of the airline. Asking for more time. That their dedicated support team is working on it.That I can contact the airline myself, doing their job.

Sky high fees and a customer support that will just transfer your call until you hang up. Cannot recommend at all!
No money is refunded when your flight…
No money is refunded when your flight is delayed or cancelled. If you call them you won’t reach them (be aware of phone bill charges for calling uk), and if you email you won’t get a answer either.
But if you’re “lucky” and get a hold of them via chat in their app, they’ll ask for a service fee for them to handle your refund. If you pay the service and go back to contact them, they are nowhere to find. Neither via the app, email or phone.
I recommend to buy the tickets directly from the flight company’s homepage, once you know what flight to take via the different services available on google. You can buy the tickets individually from each flight’s homepage.

We had to call Norwegian to find out our flight was NOT cancelled, it just changed location (Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam, which is not a big issue). Mytrip never reacted in the customer service chat, they said I would be connected with the right team which they never did. Will never use them again.

Bad service, we ended up paying 80 Euros extra for normal hand luggage. MyTrip would not help us when we got our orderand wanted to correct it
