A nice price is nothing without a good service. 2 weeks ago I received an email from Air China about a flight cancellation in a booking I made with MyTrip.com. I tried to manage my booking on the airline website - no success for third party bookings. I contacted MyTrip then - chat seemed helpful, they confirmed the flight is cancelled (even though in my MyTrip booking it seems scheduled and active even today, 2 weeks later), they checked alternatives and we agreed on a previous day flight which was OK for me. They told me it can "take some time", I asked how much, they said "up to a week". I asked them to speed it up, they promised. 10 days later - no news, I tried to contact MyTrip again - number 25 in the phone queue, number 16 in the chat queue - and this doesn't change even after 15-20 minutes of waiting. Today, over 2 weeks later, I'm trying again. No 10 in the phone queue, No 10 in the chat queue - and nothing changes in 30 minutes. Now I'm number 6 in the phone queue and No 6 in the chat queue - and this also doesn't change. Obviously these queues are fake and they are doing nothing. This is so frustrating! They don't let you manage your booking and they don't do anything to manage it themselves. Waiting for what? Maybe the airline to run out of seats and me having to cancel? And maybe charge me then for the involuntary cancellation? I don't get it! In the past they were providing a better service, but nowadays it's a horror movie!
P.S. An hour after the review I managed to connect to the MyTrip call center, and after some convincing from my side that 2 weeks for rebooking is an unacceptably long processing time, they promised that I will have the rebooked ticket in 24 hours - and I actually had it ready in 6 hours. So they can be helpful, but you have to be very persistent.

Awful - avoid at all costs
Booked through Skyscanner a return flight from Cardiff to Belfast but I have a developing heart condition and had to cancel the trip. I have phoned several times and used the chat system and have been given different answers and fee rates as to why they cannot cancel and refund. It may be a legitimate online travel agent but the answers I got and refusal to share their cancellation policy felt like dealing with a scam caller. I do t think I’ll get my mo ey back anytime soon but I am going to the ombudsman if they do not respond to my complain.
Avoid at all cost
Truly an awful site, they abandon you once you've paid, there is no customer service, they just send you emails telling you that your flight is cancelled and that they won't provide any option, you just have to work things out yourself.
Right now, I don't even know if I will be able to get home, thanks Mytrip!

Misleading pricing and poor user experience
I highly advise against using this service due to their deceptive pricing practices. After spending over 10 minutes entering my personal details, the final price at checkout was nearly double the initial quote. This "bait-and-switch" tactic is extremely misleading and a complete waste of time. I recommend looking for a more transparent and honest provider. Avoid this site. They use misleading marketing by showing a low initial price, only to significantly increase it once you reach the payment screen. Increasing the cost by nearly 100% after a lengthy registration process is unprofessional and dishonest. Save your time and money elsewhere.
Misleading "flexibility" and forced upgrade scam
I paid extra for a "Flexible Ticket" and "Cancellation Guarantee" through MyTrip.com, expecting basic flexibility and a fair refund option.
What I got was the opposite.
When I tried to change my flight, I was quoted more than the original round-trip price just to change one leg. The reason? I was told I had to upgrade the seat class to make any change at all.
That is not flexibility. That is a forced upgrade disguised as a paid feature. Selling a "flexible ticket" that only works if you pay even more is blatantly misleading.
I then canceled, expecting a refund based on the "cancellation guarantee" (advertised up to 90%). Instead, I received a €35 voucher.
Not a refund. A voucher, and nowhere near what was promised.
I paid extra for protections that turned out to be useless, lost most of my money, and had to rebook elsewhere.
This feels like a bait-and-switch. Avoid these add-ons - they do not work as advertised. Or even better, avoid the company for good.
The proper price
I find the same ticket with the same features with a quite percent lower price than the original website, I recommend this website for booking tickets and all another services related to travelling and tourism.
Mytrip support bouncing my refund
Hi everyone. I've used Mytrip a few times, and it was okay until my flight was cancelled directly by the airline.
My trip order is 1101-312-643.
Airline booking ID: EVTYQ9.
The flight was scheduled for April 9 (2026), and I received the cancellation notice on March 26 (2026).
It has now been more than 50 days with no refund. Mytrip support keeps passing me between operators without providing viable information about my order. This is indeed ridiculous bouncing: one operator says that the chat will be redirected to another 'Team' and i need to stay online all the way. Totally I've spent about 5 hours at the chat support: they respond once in 15-20 minutes and nobody has the history of my previous conversation. So it is like groundhog day every time.
I will update this review if I get the response from them.

I booked a flight through Mytrip.com (Order: 1112-259-743) which was cancelled by the airline (Precision Air).
The airline has clearly confirmed that the ticket is eligible for a full refund and even issued a waiver code (WC8123) for the agent to process it.
Despite multiple emails over more than a month, Mytrip.com has not responded or processed the refund.
The airline has already instructed Mytrip to proceed, but there is still no action.
This level of non-response and delay is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through this platform.

Mytrip’s handling of our refund has been completely unacceptable.
We were clearly told the refund would be processed within 10–15 days. That timeframe has now passed with no resolution, no proactive communication, and no accountability.
We have contacted customer support multiple times and were explicitly promised a supervisor callback and a follow-up email with case notes. Neither of these commitments were honoured. Being left in phone queues and given assurances that are not followed through on is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
This is not a minor inconvenience—my partner is currently stranded overseas and waiting on this refund to arrange travel home. The lack of urgency, transparency, and follow-through from Mytrip is making an already stressful situation significantly worse.
At this point, we expect immediate action:
- A clear update on the status of the refund
- A confirmed timeline for when funds will be returned
- Direct communication from a supervisor as previously promised
If this is not resolved promptly, we will escalate the matter further through formal complaints and additional review platforms.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid Mytrip if you value reliable service and honest communication.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Customer service make up fees to charge we needed name change started at £43 then another £80 saying airline charge this airline says free then refuse to do change . Airline say contact agent, mytrip says go to airline 5 attempts with my trip varying charges and never changed anything the stress alone isn’t worth it. Customer service shocking took 5 attempts to get email address for complaint and ignored . No transparent fees dishonest company. Wish I had checked reviews before booking .
Delay after delay and not even an email
Booked flight ticket through the website which was showing that the flight is at 8:30 am and when I arrived at the airport I found out that the flight is at 9:00 but it will have delay till 11:30 , all this changes and not even 1 email I received to update me , also I booked baggage of 20kg to find at the end that mytrip had error during the booking process and they refunded me 58€ and I needed to pay 85€ at the airport check in counter .
Even when I tried to speak with agents in live chat they said it’s the airline fault not ours and from our side there is nothing we can do !!!

I bought tickets from Phu Quoc to Bangkok for me and my wife.
However, two weeks before the planned flight I got into a car accident.
I'd opted in for "Cancelation Guarantee", it's usually means that I get my money back in case of cancelation, so I thought it might be good enough in case of something like this.
And upon cancelation, knowing my reasons and seeing proof, they repeatedly rejected my request for cash refund, and offered vouches on their platform.
I think it's quite fraudulent behavior, they are deceiving customers selling not what the customers think they are buying. There was no notions about "voucher refund". When people cancel a flight with pre-purchased option to do that, they expect to get their cash back.
I do not recommend sponsor them with your money.
False informations and no taking responsibility
Worker told me that I'll only have to pay a little change when buying new ticket if I put the old one on "open" but later other operaters said that it's not true and the company didn't want to take responsility for false information their worked gave me so I ended up buying complitely new ticket, double price and worse flight because it was then last minute. No even a voucher from their side after numerous complaints and eventho I send them audiotape of our conversation that they filmed. Never again am I buying a ticket through Mytrip.
