A scam company who take money without…

A scam company who take money without consent. Have got stung by them hiding in a QR code on a one 4 all gift card . It seems two fraudulent companies working together. Hopefully my bank has put a stop to the payment. Apple also needs to have a look at security on apple pay

so I was scammed via a web site called…

Update - I have now had two refunds of £29.90 but still don't know whay the money was taken in the first place - read on - so I was scammed via a web site called Mytechteach for £29.90 twice on my Starling card which I use for ApplePay. Starling were very helpful but their first reaction was this is a subscription so unlikely to be a fraud. I contacted Mytechteach and they told me I had signed up and authorised payment - I couldn't think what I had signed up to so asked them to confirm what exactly was the subscription service. By return I then got an email saying £29.90 would be refunded by MarketNow24 and on my starling card I have just had a refund payment of £29.90 from mytechteach. So what caused it - reading the trusted reviews on marketnow24 I reckon it was FlightRadar which I checked just before the first payment - it had loads of ads and maybe I pressed the wrong button?

£29.90 unauthorised scam

Negative reviews for this company can also be found on Tecteachs. As with the other reviews coming in, £29.90 was taken out of my account. I had no idea who they are were or how they got my details. As requested by Revolut (account where the money had been taken from), I provided the evidence to subsequently show that I had tried to contact them to challenge the payment, that their customer service recorded message sounded suspicious and that there was no response as to emails that I sent but Revolut wouldn’t reimburse or help.

It is suspected that the payment was made via Apple wallet and that I clicked on a link posing as a different company looking for confirmation of age to access their website.

Scam

Never visited this website, but a 1-day(only one day??) trial was started for me somehow. 2 weeks later, £29.90 was charged from my card.
