Extremely poor and unprofessional letting agency. We had issues with them before we even moved into the house, taking ages to reply and being rude and blunt in emails. Our landlord only checked in on us a few times when we had a leak but apart from that took days to respond to issues. She took 2 weeks to provide us with a new fridge freezer and complained when we messaged her about it since she was away. She constantly dismissed us and made us feel like we were walking on egg shells. We moved in and only had 4 keys when there were 5 of us moving in, this was immediately blamed on us. We went without a remote for the TV for months even though we continued to ask. At the end of our time in the house they took a ridiculous amount of our deposit back and when we requested a final breakdown of the amount they were taking, they took weeks to provide this. Even then we weren’t sent the right amount and when mystudenlet tried to get In touch with our landlord to send us some of the money back she took a while to do this. They say they ‘maintain a high quality professional service’ but after spending 2 years with them, I didn’t see an ounce of professionalism. This is an extremely carless and rude letting agency with landlords who don’t care about their tenants, would avoid at all costs.

Beware of any house where the landlord takes on the self managing of a property.

DPS were completely useless and failed to understand that the landlord was pulling a fast one, even though photo & video evidence was provided to prove the house was in a total state of disrepair when they moved in. Our own Shark hoover (cost £220), was broken by the landlords handyman when hoovering up WET PLASTER. This was not even taken into account, it’s a whole con and you may well be left out of pocket. They have ended up paying for repairs at the house (74 St Luke’s Road Bournemouth) which were not of their making.

Fuming doesn’t even begin to explain how we feel !!!!!

Worst letting agency possible.
I rented with this company for 1 year and had such an extreme magnitude of problems.
Firstly the letting agent themselves was incredibly unprofessional and lied to her tenants about parts contacts. Promising renewels and then going back on it 4 months later.
In terms of their properties, although they’re modern and of a great standard. The upkeep is terrible. Mould was a huge issue and the agency did nothing, regardless of making promises to fix it.
When I visited before moving in I noticed lots of breaks and uncleanliness and was told it would be changed before I moved in. This was not done and it was not up to a good standard.
The head of the company was very unfriendly, rude and unprofessional when contacting its tenants.
Had 0 care or time for us tenants who pay their bills.
And even after an incident in which our privacy was put in jeopardy, the company continued allow it to happen.
Couldn’t recommend it less.
If you want a landlord that will treat you fairly, keep to the contact and not treat you like nothing. Don’t go near My Student Let.
