We’re a Dublin based team delivering groceries and household essentials in minutes from our local hubs, with everything packed fresh and handled by our own riders when you order directly through the Shuppa app. You might also see Shuppa on Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats. In those cases, we prepare and pack your order, but the delivery and payment are handled by their platforms and rider networks. If anything goes wrong on those orders, it’s always best to contact them directly, though we’ll always do our best to help where we can. If you order directly with via the shuppa app, everything from packing to delivery is managed by our team, which gives us full control over speed and service. We’re still a small team building this day by day, and we genuinely appreciate every order, and every bit of feedback that helps us improve.

Waited almost an hour to receive salmon fillets that were out of date by two days what a joke. Shuppa get your act together.

Ah that’s really not good enough, especially on something like fresh salmon, I’m very sorry you had that experience. It's most unusual for us.

I can see this order came through Deliveroo, so the delivery timing was handled by their rider network, but the out of date product is completely on us and shouldn’t have happened.

We understand you got a refund through Deliveroo and I added a €10 voucher for your next direct shop with us as a gesture.

Brutal Service

I ordered from Shuppa on Just-Eat and they never bothered to deliver. They are a joke. They shouldn't be allowed to operate on Just-Eat. Not in all my years using the app have I had an experience like this.

Ah Niamh, that sounds really frustrating, I’m sorry you had that experience.

Just to clarify, when orders are placed through Just Eat, the delivery and order handling on that side is managed entirely by Just Eat and their rider network. Once the order leaves us, we don’t have visibility or control over the delivery.

If you ever order directly through the Shuppa app, it’s handled end to end by our own team, so we’ve full control over both packing and delivery.

I was in the shop today29/08/25 and…

I was in the shop today29/08/25 and found the 2 people that were in there completely rude ignorant aggressive and extremely confrontational to people...I simply started by asking who was in charge to the reply by some young man "what's It to you" and "don't come in here asking questions like that"....these people are badly trained people and haven't a clue about customer service.

I’m actually a bit confused by this one, as our locations aren’t open to the public, they’re micro fulfilment sites used purely for packing online orders, so customers wouldn’t normally be able to enter. (they can pick-up outside)

It’s possible there’s been a mix up with location, or that this was related to a delivery pickup, but either way that interaction doesn’t sound right.

Don’t know anything about this “ shuppa “ ?? Is this supposed to be the Irish word for shop?? What a stupid name. I AM IRISH, OF IRISH DESCENT. I attended an all Irish speaking school, and can hardly believe that a man who appears to have an Irish name, is calling a shop supposedly in Irish, shuppa. Seriously- where did HE come from??? I KNOW HOW TO SPELL SHOP AS GAEILGE, and it is NOT shuppa. Who ARE you people? And where do you come from, if you claim to be Irish, of Irish descent, you obviously never learned to speak in Irish wherever you went to school. You should be ashamed of yourself. Wonderful service

Wonderful service - I use it often when having a party and running out of supplies (ice, drinks, snacks, etc). The order always arrives very quickly and the riders are always very pleasant.

Terrible

Terrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Always stuff missing or mouldy - got burnt one too many times and when you ask for it to be rectified they ignore you.

From what you’ve described, this sounds like it may have been an order placed through Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats, where the delivery and communication with the rider is handled by their network rather than directly by us.

Once the order leaves us, we don’t have visibility into the delivery side on those platforms, which isn’t ideal in situations like this.

If you ever order directly through the Shuppa app, it’s handled end to end by our own team, so we’ve full control over both the delivery and communication.

Simply a Brilliant Business

Ordered some beers & snacks last Friday evening. Delivered in 10 minutes! The beers were cold and there was even a handwritten note from the crew and some sweets. Will 100% be using again.
