Scam Company - Temporary Review Removal

I'm telling you, stay away. This is a scam company. They will remove the reviews initially but they will reappear in about 3 months. They will then not respond to emails, phone calls, or meeting requests from their online platforms. They completely ghost you. I am telling you, do not pay for this scamming service. They should be in jail.

Beware:

We received an email from RealRep stating they could help with the removal of a review. We figured we would try it out. We paid $1200 for two removals. Reviews were temporarily removed for a couple of months. They recently popped back up. My main frustration is the lack of communication with this company. We have called multiple times, left voicemails, and sent emails asking for help with absolutely no response or call backs. I would absolutely not recommend spending money with this company. Removals are temporary.

They write a fake Google review first

They write a fake Google review first, then right after sending an email to ask $595 to remove them. If you do not do it, they give another one to push you. It’s absolutely illegal, and there are many companies like that got in trouble already. We will make sure to follow legal actions to put them in their place as well.

These "people" continuously email me at…

These "people" continuously email me at different admin emails I have access to, probably not realizing I am the same person each time. I've received emails about reviews from years ago saying they will remove them, and I say no thank you and continue to get these emails.

Nothing like a reputable service that spams you about removing reviews - and sending emails from different domains each time. Really trustworthy actions here.

ABSOLUTE SCAM. Got a bad RANDOM review for the first time in our small business - it was a name nobody recognized. We investigated and found it strange. Our business is small, and we track all our customer interactions. Within 5 hours a type of email WE NEVER RECEIVED, providing Google review removal.

ABSOLUTELY F SCAM!!!!! There are coincidences but this was way easy to track. Wish you go out of business. STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE

This company plants bad reviews on…google

This company plants bad reviews on businesses and then offers to remove them for a price. They aren't even careful to make sure the person lives in the correct state who leaves the bad reviews. Things are tough enough our here for small local business. This scam is just disgusting.

Scam company that leaves bad reviews so they can "remove" them for you.

This company "successfully" removes bad reviews because they are the ones leaving them! This is an absolute scam company with extremely predatory practices. Do not, under any circumstances, work with them.

Scam company

Scam company. Keep spamming us and harassing us with emails to remove our negative reviews literally making up reviews and then saying we can pay them to remove the non-existent reviews that they fabricated? They're clearly from a certain country and I'm on the verge of finding a random person from that country to take it out on

Aggressive Spam Tactics and Questionable Reputation Services

RealRep engages in persistent unsolicited outreach targeting businesses with negative online reviews, often using alarm-driven language to pressure a response. Their emails repeatedly cite statistics about lost revenue and present themselves as a solution to “remove” unfavorable reviews, yet they provide no clear opt-out mechanism or respect for recipient preferences. Even after being marked as abuse, follow-up messages continue, raising serious concerns about compliance with basic email marketing standards and anti-spam practices.

The messaging strategy appears designed to create urgency and anxiety rather than provide transparent, verifiable information about their services. Claims of removing reviews on a “success-only” basis may sound appealing, but there is little detail about the legal or ethical methods used to achieve such removals. This lack of clarity should give pause to any business considering engagement, especially in regulated industries where reputation management must be handled carefully and lawfully.

Additionally, repeatedly resurfacing and quoting negative reviews in unsolicited emails can itself be harmful and disruptive. It amplifies the very content the business may wish to address constructively and places the recipient in a cycle of unwanted contact.

Overall, RealRep demonstrates aggressive solicitation practices, inadequate respect for opt-out requests, and insufficient transparency. Businesses should exercise caution and consider more reputable, compliant approaches to reputation management.

Spam shows lack of integrity

This company is relentlessly spamming us when we have zero interest in their services, with no opt-out as required by federal law. We've marked them as spam repeatedly but they are somehow evading our spam filters. I would never trust a company that uses such tactics.
