While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

BEWARE of hidden subscription charges!
BEWARE of hidden subscription charges!
I visited this site to create a simple QR code and paid $1.95, which I understood to be a one-time fee. The QR code didn't even work. Then, 7 days later, I was hit with a $49 charge I never agreed to.
I never received a single email from this company. No purchase receipt, no welcome email, no trial notification, no upcoming charge reminder, and no charge confirmation. Nothing. Zero. For a company that claims their subscription requires "manual confirmation" before activation, it is remarkable that not one email was generated or sent to me at any point.
When I contacted support, they pointed to their pricing page as proof of disclosure. However, the renewal terms are buried as a small bullet point inside the product feature list, deliberately styled to look like a feature rather than a billing warning. That is not clear disclosure, that is deceptive design.
I contacted their support team twice, referencing the FTC's Negative Option Rule and providing screenshot evidence of their misleading pricing page. Both times I was denied a refund. Their final response claimed I "manually confirmed" the subscription, yet they could not produce a single email or receipt proving that confirmation was ever sent to me.
After reading dozens of 1-star reviews here describing the exact same experience, it is clear this is not a mistake. This is their business model.
Save yourself the headache and use a free QR code generator instead. This company specializes in trapping people into subscriptions they never knowingly signed up for.
Very fine aplication

FRAUD
I subscribed for the trial week. After 7 days, they charge you EUR 49 without sending any email. The T&C are written in a very small font and you end up not noticing that they will charge you automatically after 7 days.
I sent many emails to the customer support asking for a refund just few hours after they billed the 49€.
They never agreed to refund the amount.
It is illegal to charge someone's card without send any email stating the T&C. It's a fraudulent company.

Absolute Dark Pattern SCAM
Absolute Dark Pattern SCAM. They offer 7 Day full access - with small letters description (barely visible on mobile) automated extension for full 49 EUR / month subscription. Don't use that scam service, there are free qr code generators or paid but with a clear pricing policy.
Surprised in Texas as to how easy this was

This is a fraudulent company
This is a fraudulent company. If you sign up for a 7-day package, you will end up paying £49 per month after 7 days. They will automatically enrol you and take your money without authority, and they keep your bank details. You will not realise this until the money has been taken, and the company will not repay it even if you haven't used their service. This is a fraudulent business subscription model with the small print hidden elsewhere. No notice or warning will be given. God knows how many people lost their money. Beware!!!

This site is a SCAM!
This site is a SCAM!! Be aware, that if you if create one QR code and get forced to sign up they automatically sign you up for their subscription which is crazy expensive. You have to be vigilant and cancel right away. They have terrible customer service, and their subscription service is set up to trick you. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!! There is so many better options. Don't get tricked like I did. Paying $50 for one QR code is insane.
