Piece of Cake Movers did an excellent job! The team was very communicative, efficient, and organized. I was astonished by how quickly and seamlessly they were able to move my belongings across boroughs and reassemble several furniture items. Amazing. Super nice guys, great customer support. I’ve used them twice and had more than a handful of friends who have used them based on my recommendation. I’ve heard horror stories of other companies breaking valuables, but I’ve never heard of peace of cake. They protect and care for your move. Book them, they’re the best.

Beware- awful customer service
Packers were 3 hours late.
I requested unpacking but they left without completing the job.
When they left I was totally overwhelmed and while I received their Venmo information to tip, I did not tip immediately. Again I was completely overwhelmed in a new house surrounded by boxes I needed to unpack on my own before my children arrived. I did plan to discuss an appropriate tip amount with my husband that evening. However, the team who left called and hinted at not yet receiving a tip. I said “I haven’t tipped you yet, but I will. I’m waiting for my husband and I’m completely overwhelmed.” And he said “I’m not allowed to call you about that, but I hope you acknowledge how hard my team worked.” It was OUTRAGEOUS and made me feel uncomfortable on a day I was already so uncomfortable.
They ended up sending a lovely team of unpackers hours later, but in the end it was just more people to tip.
Multiple items damaged.
Do not hire them.
