A Giant Huge Waste Of Time -- Glad To Pay Them To Go Away.

just spent two hours trying to get two rebates from T-Mobile with no joy. Mypaymentvault has a rather unique security approach: after three bad password/user attempts you are locked out for an indefinite period. My bank and broker and Amazon and pretty much everyone else in the free world do not do this...MyPaymentvault is the absolute worst! Shame on T-Mobile for being with them.

Don't put in ANY characters! Use lowercase letters and numbers only, then put an uppercase letter at the END of your password.

When I parted mobile phone services with AT&T, I received a$347USD refund in the form of a Mastercard with mypaymentvault com/ATT, Sunrise Banks NA administered by NorthLane Tech, an Onbe Inc Co. I cannot register via the said website. I enter a username and passwords, with correct criteria (upper & lower case, numbers, x# of characters, etc) and not copied and pasted, but they are never valid and never match. All the boxes are checked for the criteria, but it still says "Please provide a valid Password" and I cannot get past this page. Oh just got it. Don't put in ANY characters! Use lowercase letters and numbers only, then put an uppercase letter at the END of your password. A high schooler who didn't pass computer sciences wrote this security page.

AVOID

AVOID: This company steals your money!

I received x2 gift cards from work for this company and both have been wiped clean without me spending the money. The chat function is a bot who refuses to put you through to a human. It tells you to log on to speak to a human, but you can't log on because they have deactivated my account. When telling the Bot this, it gives you a number to call that doesn't exist. When telling the Bot that, it tells you to log on to speak to a human. It then shuts the chat down.

Dishonest Company

This is the most shady, dishonest and ineffective company I have dealt with in concerns to my money and my debit card. The app itself is slow to update and the customer service deserves less than the 1 star I was forced to give them. If you ever have the unfortunate experience of returning an item purchased or an order canceled with your debit card, these people will make it almost impossible to get your money back. They will come up with different reasons why you’re not getting your refund, they will give you different dates for your refund AND they will even charge you twice for the amount when your refund is issued. Not a joke. They will tell you it’s the merchant’s fault when it’s clearly not. Something seems criminal with their procedures and policies.

SCAM, AVOID.

The customer support experience is appalling. The company behaves in a highly unprofessional manner and raises serious concerns about its legitimacy. They refused to cancel my service, failed to provide basic information, and offered no meaningful assistance at all.

I have never felt the need to write a service review before, but in this case I feel obligated to share my experience to warn others. The level of disrespect and poor treatment is unacceptable. The website is poorly designed, difficult to navigate, and appears non-compliant with basic transparency standards.

It is extremely difficult to find essential company information, such as registered address or ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs), which is a major red flag.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Dealing with them has been frustrating, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing.

WARNING

WARNING: BLATANT DECEPTION

As a card issuer employee, and following a thorough investigation, I can confirm that the prepaid MasterCard/VISA cards issued by MyPaymentVault lack a BIN and transaction logic (TXN logic), rendering them completely inoperative. These cards cannot be routed, cannot verify a balance, and cannot apply essential anti-fraud controls, leading to systematic declines on all websites and payment platforms (PayPal, Amazon, eBay, etc.).

Customer support is virtually non-existent, leaving users with no recourse when faced with a product that fails to deliver on its promises. This represents a blatant deception and a serious breach of fundamental payment standards; purchasing this card is effectively paying for air.

I strongly recommend requesting an immediate refund from the issuer, disputing any failed transactions, and reporting the product to the relevant authorities and payment networks.

Sincerely

Complete thieves and scammers

Complete thieves, scammers. I was given a prepayment card and this company are blocking all attempts to spend my money, around 2 weeks and 30 emails later I still get the same replies. Either they see I no longer need help now, it’s because I tried to buy a gift card (which the company confirmed it was an issue with the prepayment card) or I’ve put the details in wrong (I 100% haven’t!)

DO NOT USE unless you are happy giving your money away. Awful company with no help from them to resolve the issue. I will be reporting them for keeping my money.

Ridiculous NO HELP ROBOT like support at My Payment Vault

I tried using a virtual Visa prepaid card administered by My Payment Vault 3 times this afternoon with an online purchase & all payment attempts with this newly received card failed. The business kept telling me to check with the bank concerned for this prepaid credit card.

I went through a lot to create an account with My Payment Vault & found no records/card usage history whatsoever that indicated any issues or payment decline.

I got this absolutely useless, all robotic like named "Catalina" online support chat at My Payment Vault.

Despite how many times with how much details I kept telling this robot about the 10-15 times I was checking/verifying to ensure all card info was correct , that the payment receiving business told me multiple times to check with the card issuer, etc., this silly & even quite ridiculous robot "Catalina" still kept telling me over & over to make sure I use the correct card info, that there was no issue about this card, I should check with the payment rejecting merchant involved or use the card with another merchant, & so on.

I ended this purely time-wasting 20 minute+ online chat with "Thanks you for your NO HELP, NO SUPPORT!"

These guys essentially stole the money…

These guys essentially stole the money from a gift card they issued. Federal law prohibits gift card expiration dates of less than five years, Massachusetts law requires a minimum of seven years for state-issued gift certificates. They are breaking the law and you can't even reach anyone there.

Gift card can be randomly selected for fraud and locked

Apparently, they can randomly select your gift card to be checked for security measures by flagging your account for fraud, and lock your gift card. Your account will be locked for 5 days after you call in and report it and they help you. Even after answering their questions and confirming your transactions you have to wait 5 days. I was told this by a rep when it happened to me.

Received a $100 virtual gift card from my job. The card is stewarded by mypaymentvault.com. Activated it and used it for a small $6 purchase at my cafeteria with no trouble. A week later I try to use it again at the same place for same amount but this time transaction is declined. I try to check on the card online and receive a message saying due to account status I cannot access the card information. So I call and was first told they suspected fraud and locked the card. I pointed out that I used the card once successfully and then attempted to use it again at the same place, so which transaction was suspected fraud? If I can confirm the transaction can the card be unlocked? The rep then told me actually you were randomly selected. After I finish answering their questions, they can unlock my gift card after 5 days. I asked to escalate the issue to a manager. The rep says there is no manager. I ask to speak to someone else. The rep says there is no one else. I ask for a phone number to headquarters so I can escalate. You guessed it, There is no phone number. I do not recommend gift cards from this place. My purchase was done at the business that gave me the card in the first place, so I feel that this "fraud" flag is ridiculous. I can't imagine what it is like to have an actual bank or credit card account with them in the event that you have an issue. There is no manager? Unacceptable!

SCAMMERS 🚨

SCAMMERS 🚨

I have been trying to access my prepaid card from My Payment Vault for MONTHS, and guess what? It’s still blocked and it’s expiring!
I’ve sent multiple emails, tried contacting them through their website, and NOTHING. They promise you to regulate the situation but it’s just a lie. Their customer service is a scam or completely dysfunctional. My card expires soon, and at this point, I feel like they’re just stealing my money by ignoring my requests until it’s too late.
If you’re thinking of using My Payment Vault, DON’T. You might as well throw your money in the trash because you’ll never see it again. This company is a joke, and they should not be allowed to operate. If they don’t respond immediately, I will escalate this issue and post it everywhere !!!!!!

AVOID Mypaymentvault

My work collected some money for my leaving collection last Sept 2024. I have since had problems using the funds on this card. I cant get a sensible answer for their online contact us. Same message is sent over and over asking for my details which I gave. The expiry date is Sept 2025 and I feel this is a scam just to keep hold of your funds. The Tel no doesn't work as it keeps saying can't connect this time so God knows what this company is up to. AVOID if you can!!!

CSL Plasma prepaid debit card

CSL Plasma prepaid debit card
Have used this card for years, without any problems. Recently, the website was changed from Northlane to My payment vault. A few days ago a purchase was declined. I needed to talk to someone to find out why. I contacted my payment vault through email. The response was it was due to "risk strategy". Try the Transaction again in an hour. I did and I was still declined. Sent another email and got the same response. 7 or 8 emails later I still have no real reason for the declined transactions. There is nowhere on the website to connect with a customer service person besides email. And the response time is 2 days or more. A week later, I have had money deposited on the card and still can't make a purchase. Was declined by the grocery store for food. I was able to make a transfer to another bank account, but that hasn't gone through yet, 2-3 business days plus the weekend. So now I'm without access to my funds and hungry. They need better customer service is my complaint. Couldn't find anywhere to talk to someone live. No phone number.
