This is a company that serves the UK market but doesn't seem to be able to have a modern system that calculates all taxes that are due on checkout - like any other company in 2024!
Instead, you pay £160 & then receive an email from the courier when they are ready to deliver asking for £52 in taxes!
It is now 2 weeks & I am still trying to get my monies refunded - horrendous experience, awful customer experience & not a company I will ever deal with again!
What the company has failed to address in their reply is that the previous order was sent to the US where there are no taxes. Instead of updating their systems to include tax - they choose not to.
Also, they respond to this review within 2 hours yet I'm still waiting for a reply to my email!!
Instead of a prominent message on your website, try updating your systems to reflect the year, 2024 & how online business sell across borders!!
What they have also failed to address is that they just ignore emails. I've been emailing for the last week for a refund, still waiting with no clarity or information.

We have a very prominent notice on the order page of our webshop that local taxes may apply in the respective countries for orders outside the EU. This is particularly important in the UK, which has decided against a unified tax system with the EU after BREXIT and has a low limit for EU imports. As mentioned, there is a clear note on this next to the shopping cart in the ordering process. It is a pity if this is not read as by all our other customers. We have given you the option of canceling your order and have also informed you that we will refund the value of your order immediately if you return the goods to us. We have not received the goods to date. We can't quite understand what all the fuss is about. We ship our goods worldwide and customers from non-EU countries have so far all read the note on taxes when importing goods. You were also satisfied with our goods and the order process before, as you have already ordered from us previously. Like all other businesses we will immediately transfer you your money back as we receive our products.
