MyLuthier made my experience very simple and smooth since the beginning. Run by two great musicians themselves, Pedro and Ariel make sure that only the finest contemporary instruments and bows make it to their workshop. They are familiar with the work of many instrument makers around the world, which gives them the ability to offer exclusive advice to their customers. Thanks to the great collection they have, I was able to comfortably try many great instruments and find my fantastic Cremonese cello. I highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for a top-quality instrument!

MyLuthier is by far the best showroom in the UK to find contemporary violins, violas, cellos and bows. Being musicians themselves, the directors are able to select today’s best instruments and make them available in London.
They also host wonderful events showcasing their instruments and introducing musicians to luthiers. These include stunning concerts, sight-reading sessions and drinks to top it off.

The gold mounted cello bow by Emilio Slaviero plays beautifully and was sold to me at a very reasonable price. I use the bow for most of my professional work and it is strong, supports solo playing admirably, whilst also being subtle and delicate when required. My Luthier introduced me to this bow maker; I was impressed by the entire sales process which was conducted with both professionalism and efficiency. It really helps that both directors of the business are fine string instrument players themselves.
