Not affordable
I wrote and asked by email [as it is not not on their website] if they had access to myTAP PAP nasal pillow masks, which I have used and found comfortable for my sleep apnoea. I had an email saying yes, the cost was $375. The USA sites have them around $70-75, but many require a [US] prescription [which is obviously impossible if one lives in Australia] or do not ship to Australia.
I rang up their telephone line as I thought we must not be talking about the same product. The lady who picked up the line [1300 27 27 66] said yes that was the product and the cost.
$375 seems more than excessive; it seems extortionate.
Simply not affordable - which they claim is a hallmark of their business.
I told the lady thank you.
Update - I went to CPAP.com ordered 3 of the masks no problem, with shipping total cost is $US 305 = $ A 436 today. If I had bought from this company [mycpap.com.au] 3x $ A 375 = $ A 1125 ie nearly 3 times as much. I stand by my original experience with this company; I would give a 0 rating if possible for their claimed affordability.

I am sure you are aware that there are many products which are cheaper in USA than they are in Australia. This relates to all the CPAP products we sell. We are not adding a lot to the price it is purely because the cost prices we have in Australia are a lot higher than the prices in the USA. Even if you did the exchange of 1: 2 for US to Australia dollars and the cost price with freight charges is much higher than you believe. If you can find this at a cheaper price in Australia, I would be surprised
Thanks for updating your review but I believe this is harsh. No business can survive by selling a product below the cost price in Australia. I am glad you received what you needed at a value price, but we could not be able to match that price. That is pure economics. With other products which we source from CPAP suppliers in Australia we are very competitive on pricing. This is just the reality of commerce on a global scale
