We wanted to change the reserved vehicle to one that could cross the fords, but we encountered a lady who was not very friendly. She didn’t seem concerned about her job and refused even though the vehicle was available (and more expensive). Furthermore, there is only one shuttle vehicle, so for the return, there can be delays because the shuttle is small.
My wife and I are very pleased to have booked the car using MyCar.is. I would recommend it as, currently, I judge the experience to be more than positive. The car had the same model and features, better still, it was the 2023 model. The Toyota RAV4 was the added value for our experience; navigator and 4G WiFi in the car allowed us to keep in touch with our whole family and to be able to use the internet to its full potential.
For a couple of days we rented a Toyota Yaris 2023 Hybrid with a few days notice which was perfect.. All the staff were always at our disposal both in the Reykjavik and Keflavik offices.
