Hard to put on 4 year old
Hard to put on Autistic 4-year-old - took 2 adults and screwdriver. Daughter continues to be able to remove it by sliding off her arm as she is between that size holes that are available. It actually fell her arm today and took time to find in my home, even with the use ”last known location” function.

Very disappointed that the tags stopped working days after we received them because we updated the iOS software on our phone. They are futile devices until the product can keep up with technology.

Can’t tell when the device is off by looking at it. How does the battery get replaced? Buy another one?? App map function is at least a mile off. Great concept, but needs bugs and concerns worked out.

Hello Cathie, you can tell if the device is on by pressing the panic button. When you press the panic button and it is connected, you will hear an alarm on your phone. The battery on the tag will last up to one year. After that we offer replacements for a cost of $10. If the tag dies in less than a year you can contact us and we will replace the tag. Since the device is not a GPS device it will not provide the updated location of the child.

Thank you for the review on the product! The My Buddy Tag is waterproof. It is design to send a water safety alert when the tag has been submerged in a foot or more mass of water. If the tag is submerged in a cup of water or if it is used while the child is washing their hands it will not send a water safety alert however it will continue to work with your phone since it is waterproof. Not worth it
I ordered two of these bracelets for my two children. When we received them I wanted to try them out before I put them on my children. I set up the app on my phone and tested the alarm for how far away the bracelet needs to be in order for it to go off. It was not consistent and then would also randomly go off, even if the bracelet was next to the phone. We put the bracelet in water to see how the alarm would go off. It did not go off. I called and was told it needs to be in a foot of water for about 10 seconds for the alarm to trigger. I felt this was not helpful to warn me soon enough in case one of my children got to the pool. We have our pool very secure and getting access is very difficult, but in my opinion you can never be too careful and I felt this did not give me any peace of mind for that 1 in a million chance they got to the pool.

The My Buddy Tag will connect to your phone using Bluetooth signal, it will provide the out of range alert when the Bluetooth signal is not connected from the device to your phone. This distance varies depending on your environment and location. If you are indoors you will receive the alert more often due to walls or furniture interfering with the Bluetooth signal. If you are outdoors the maximum disatnce is about 80-100 feet. If the phone that is being used has a phone cover on it, the distance will be shortened. For the water safety alert we recomment putting the band around the child's ankle, this way the tag will be submerged in a foot or more of water sooner. Hello Paola, based on the USPS tracking number that we provided to you on September 21st, the order was delivered on September 27th by the post office. We received your e-mail this weekend stating that you have not yet received your order however we are working with you to resend the order. As stated in the e-mail, our shipping database shows that if we ship the order out today, October 1st, it will be delivered by the post office in 3 days.
