Not a fan tbh!. says it can cite via pdf files however it doesnt allow me to do it? why include it then if its not gonna work. what a waste of my time 0/10

This is a great website to quickly and easily create citations. I always use mybib for my college essays and the browser extension on Chrome works nicely as well.

I have been attempting to put together a much-needed citation list for the past hour+. I am still on my second cite because mybib is simply refusing to work. I am not sure if it is the update, but I have been using mybib for years and have never had problems. But this is just extremely frustrating. Once the internet connection has been checked, all updates are done, and everything else is just as it should be and this website is continuing to not work correctly is why I am choosing to write this review. Yes, it works well during certain times, then other times it simply just gives up and won't allow you to do much of anything. This unreliableness is something no student needs in their academic life. Quite honestly becomes useless, and without any heads up. Very disappointed by this site and its workings.

bruh, at this semester I use mybib to generate reference for my 4 group assignment, and guess what, its all gone by today. bro, does that mean I hve to manually find all my reference and citation again???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????And I have to go check it one by one, then why did I have to use mybib in that case if I can do it myself. for some reason Ive been locked out of my account. I have an assignment to hand in and unable to locate my references, please help I am about to melt with the stress?

Edit! I wrote this is haste as I was very annoyed at myself for not having a back up. However MyBib got this resolved so swiftly and actually this has been a valuable tool during my studies.

Currently sat looking at an empty reference list after mine and at least 300 other people’s citations disappeared according to the report a big chat. The lack of communication about expect fix time and outcome is disappointing. Will our reference return? Should those in tight deadlines start from scratch? Very frustrating.

Always works. No complaints. Just put in your source and it does all the work for you.

Love this citation site! My go-to when making my reference lists

I needed Harvard for my education and didn't want to pay for a Word subscribtion to get it, so this save me that hazzle and it's super convinient to use when doing online research.
It's also pretty easy to add any books I had that the system didn't already have.

My bib is a very user friendly referencing website. It is completely free and has no ads. I have been using it for the past 3 years for highschool and no problems at all.

At no time did I read this is a download only.. I was expecting a print but no that would require effort. This company rips people off..beware!

Recently the system is always down and this pulls down all my folder of work cited. I have to use citation machine as an alternative. The system is most of the time down

I am needing Harvard references for my PhD. Mybib will cite in Harvard.

I download my reference lists and save/print to my laptop. This way I eliminate the risk of losing my reference lists.

Well done Mybib for including a notes page which I use to copy quotes onto the notes page of the citation.

I have been using this for about a month and thought it was one of the better online citation tools. My latest project was an article I've been working on for over 2 weeks and contained over 20 citations. These were very carefully curated sources that I managed exclusively with MyBib. After logging in this morning like I always do, I got an hourglass for 2-3 minutes, like something was happening. Once the hourglass went away I was left with a tab with the name of my project, but it had zero citations. After scrambling to find some way to recover the dozens of hours of work, I found that this site does not even have a contact page. They trick you with an icon that you think will lead to a contact/support page but it loads a screen telling you that if you have an issue it's pretty much your fault. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE if you care about your work. There are much better alternatives that actually have a support contact if something goes wrong.

Probably the best citation cite ever. It can find the mass majority of books and journal articles. Has no annoying ads. It uses different citation styles. No complaints so far.

Love this site! Free site with no pop-up ads. Really helped me with my citations in the Harvard style. Saves them all conveniently in one place. Easy to use. Thank you MyBib, you’ve been a Godsend.
