Beware of this companys false promises

Booked two courses in July .One has been almost completed but 3 hours short with no test completions. Second course has been rescheduled or some poor excuses. Initiated complaint beginning November. Still no satisfactory response. Absolutely shambolic company with poor organisation and flippant attitude. Don't trust this company.
Had to approach both citizens advice and BBC watchdog to finally receive my refund almost 5 months later. I repeat avoid this company.

Scammers........

Booked an intensive course for our son on 4th October 2024 as a surprise for his 17th Birthday to be met with complete lack of organisation and morals!! For four weeks I kept asking Alex for updates on a planned theory test date which could have been booked for when he turned 17, but kept being told he was chasing for a date. I must have contacted him 20 times for an update on this. By this time it was the 31st October with no theory date planned and the intensive course apparently booked and secured for 18th November. So at this stage I was getting very concerned. Still chasing this up to the 15th November, to then receive another email at 4.15 on the Friday afternoon 3 days before the intensive was due to start to be told that the instructor was ill!! Very coincidental, so clearly the intensive did not start as planned and it left us extremely disappointed and frustrated that our plan to surprise our son with this had utterly failed and left him extremely gutted! The 19th November I contacted Alex again to be told that we could possibly start the intensive a little later in the week when the instructor was better or book another date, already with having planned the week off work my son didn't know what to do. So we said we would look elsewhere and have a full refund for services not delivered set out in my5day T&C's.... 5th December still no refund!!!! Had our money over 2 months now!!! I strongly advise you do not use this company.. Total scammers and have no morals. Totally let my son down, when he was so excited about starting his driving journey!!

I booked an intensive course in July…

I booked an intensive course in July and completed three days before the instructor's car broke down. I tried to get in contact with my5day for a resolution to book my test and finish the lessons, however despite getting a complaint reference number, I haven't had a response other than 'we're looking into this', for over 4 months. My complaint reference number from July is: 5977158298833452300. My instructor can't offer me more lessons as she has provided me proof she hasn't been paid for the lessons by my5day, I advised them in July that it is illegal to withhold money from the instructor despite 13/20 hours being completed.
My5day have responded that their legal team was looking into this in September, when I advised them I was commencing legal proceedings including my bank.

Been screwed over by these too… but because I booked in June for a Sept course which was cancelled and rebooked for Oct and then cancelled the 4 month period for my credit card insurance to kick in has passed!
Over 30 emails back and forth in the last month for a refund and no further forward. Got advised to send a letter in writing, did and they refused delivery. Going to have 2 disappointed children at Christmas as I can’t afford to buy Christmas presents now due to having to reimburse my mum for the driving lessons

SCAM

ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE AND THEIR CARS AREN'T TAXTED
I was told 2 days before the course was due to start that there was no instructor available and that I can reschedule for a later date. I then rescheduled and had to chase up a confirmation and when I called via the phone number on their website, they said they'll call me later on the day and I heard nothing. On the week of the rescheduled course I waited for a driver to turn up but no one showed! I tried calling the phone number on their website and got sent straight to voicemail. So I tired calling the number on the confirmation email and they said I was calling Drive2U.com so they are obviously both scams. Upon further research, all of the cars that are shown on their website are not taxted. I have since reported them to the police.

Really bad customer service and company.

Really bad customer service. When you call they say they’ll put you in touch with an advisor but then the phone goes dead. No response to emails - when I do get one it provides a link to the claims department. And guess what it doesn’t work. Going to my credit card company now to get a refund and informing the police of fraud. Lessons should have started in September and they let us know literally a few days before they had no instructor.

It seems this bunch of scammers have disappeared from the planet,.we booked up in September this year only to be told no one was available for the time we booked, the date was changed for today and no instructors got in touch,we ran them,no answer I emailed they said we we’d chase them up,no one came,I told Alex he was a scammer he denied it,I told him what I’d read on here and about watchdog, when I asked for a refund he said follow the link,I clicked it and nothing happened,th scammers have disappeared into oblivion,be careful out there it seems you can trust no one,I have reported them and can only hope for a refund .

If you have already give your money to…

If you have already give your money to this company unfortunately it’s a scam. The best way to get your money back is to go through your bank like I did. There’s literally no point trying to get a refund from them directly. The reason they even have a 3.1 star review is because they write the reviews themselves.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would, it is a scam website. No one you talk to is real, they are all either AI or copy and paste messages.

Currently have my bank investigating for fraud as was booked in for a crash course over 2 months ago and never received anything. Costed me £1,200 nearly!

Do you research and DO NOT purchase from this company.

Highly advise against

I had booked an intensive crash course for the end of July including a test as I didn’t want to do weekly lessons. When I spoke to my instructor just a week before I was due to begin my course, he was completely unaware it was intensive and assumed it was normal lessons. This course was meant to be done within a week and hopefully I would have passed at the end of it. However due to the company’s lack of communication with my driving instructor, I am not still undergoing lessons at the end of 2024 and my test will not be until February. The company failed to get in touch to see when I would be ready for a test so they could arrange it and due to this I actually had to pay for the test myself as the company took no Interest in helping. I have contacted the company numerous of times through their admin staff as well as trying to contact them using the mobile number advertised but no answer.
