Scumbags of the earth
Scumbags of the earth
They have gone into voluntary administration because they are disloyal thieving scum.
I have spent over 1850 on a monitor and 3 finalmouse UXLs recently and 1 finalmouse is faulty and they refuse to send the other 2 I purchased in full and paid for express shipping, 2 weeks ago
They also made me keep a faulty monitor
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I placed an order online, after 2 weeks I had not received my order. I called them to follow up only to be told they were stock taking and that post was delayed. I asked them to go check with the warehouse and they were unable to do that. There seems to be no communication between departments. Waiting on refund.
Avoid if you can
Bought a headset on their website, I swear it said in stock but after checking why it hadn't shipped after 4 business days, I saw that they had it as pre-order. I changed the headset to one they had listed as "in stock at supplier". After 3 business days I tried to contact them to get an updated ETA, I tried to call them 6 times throughout the day only to find them hang up on me with no ability to leave message. I then get an email the following day that the business has been acquired by Digidirect and the order has now been delayed so they can change their accounts over and conduct a stocktake.
I called customer service who tell me it's delayed best case by at least 3 business days. When I asked about refunding it, they said they wouldn't be able to do that for at least 3 business days either which means I can't buy it through another supplier as I wouldn't have the funds back. I asked if I could just go into a Digidirect store in Brisbane to get it and told no that's not an option either.
Terrible customer experience and I'm no closer to getting an essential headset for me to do my job with no ETA in sight. Not a happy customer
Dishonest business that doesn't communicate
Preordered an item on 31 January 2025. Since then the price of the item has risen.
As of 14 June 2025, I've received one update from them, and the only reason I got that update is because I wrote to them multiple times asking for it.
Their response was that they're trying to fulfil the preorders but they're unable to get stock. That sounds reasonable except for the fact that multiple other retailers have had the item in stock now for months.
It's obvious that Mwave has NO intention to supply the item, they're not trying to because it'll cost them money. Instead they are happy to continue holding my money pretending that they're trying to get stock in, but they're not.
Why not just be honest about it, say we can't fulfil your order because we'll lose money on it and provide a refund. Rather than pretending to be trying to continue fulfilling the order made 4.5 months ago.
They've really stuffed me around with their dishonesty and lack of communication and I will NEVER make a purchase from Mwave again.
Terrible customer service
I bought a 4 bay hhd expansion box. It would not work for me. After 2 days of trying I worked out that bay 3 was not recoganising the drive - which worked perfectly of the other 3 bays. I returned the unit and they claimed they could not replicate the fault. I had already bought a replacement box that worked perfectly. They refused to give me a refund as I had not kept the original box. I am now $337.00 out of pocket and they have the drive back. Discusted with their customer service.
Great Store with good selection of…
Great Store with good selection of products and keen prices
We have ordered a couple of items from…
We have ordered a couple of items from Mwave, all have had great prices, well below others. All items were packed well and received in excellent / new condition. The only 'issue' is when Mwave do not stock items, they have to order them in and this process did take an extra day or so above the stated delivery time. Take this in mind when ordering if you need something asap. We would order with them again.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They sell items they don't have but are marked as 'in stock'. You pay. They sit on your money, earning interest for a month. Then they tell you the item is out of stock and they can no longer get it. They off you a substitute similar item but refuse to tell you what it is before you decide, forcing you to take a refund which could take up to 10 days more. I ordered an item on 20/03 and received an email today telling me it's not available. 29 days. Read other reviews and they say the same thing. It's not just a one off. It's a course of conduct. A scam.
Seamless browsing - can be cheaper
I prefer Mwave over other retailers like PLE, CPL, Computer Alliance, & PCCG because they offer unconditionally free postage with $250+ spending. Though I'd definitely buy more products more often if Mwave offered free postage for $100+, which I'm sure would lead to greater revenue in the long run.
Another big plus by my standards is user experience when browsing & comparing products on the site. Mwave's site is NEARLY perfect. I love the seamlessness of browsing thanks to the automatic categorical expansions when I hover my mouse over. It helps me get to the specific item page efficiently (e.g. DDR5 RAM took me 3 seconds from home page).
Aspects that I'd appreciate upgrades on:
- cart management (updating quantity of items can be done with - & + buttons | price updates from cart edits take way too long - not instant like PLE & Umart)
- general component pricing (not always competitive compared to Scorptec & Umart for example)
Cheers for the overall positive experience Mwave, keep up the good stuff!

I've ordered from Mwave twice and the delivery has always been fast and accurate and the product (Dell lap top charger) has worked well.
