It's a useful idea, but the actual device only works about half of the time.
I've been using MuteMe for a couple of years now and I'm thoroughly impressed with their product. The ability to mute and unmute swiftly during a video call might seem simple, but having a button that functions even when Zoom or other applications are minimized is truly remarkable. No more fumbling between windows to find the unmute button while looking up information elsewhere, or scrambling to mute quickly when working from home and there's unexpected noise (kids!).
Moreover, the device lights up to indicate your current mute status, eliminating any confusion about whether you're muted or accidentally speaking while muted. The software powering everything is regularly updated to keep pace with changes in various video conference platforms, continually adding new features and improving support.
I rarely recommend companies, but MuteMe has been exceptional. Despite encountering one issue recently, their support team responded promptly, even resolving the issue and communicating during a national holiday, which truly impressed me.
