No communication for months

I have been trying to contact MusicAlligator for over 4 months regarding unpaid royalties and serious issues with their platform, and I have received absolutely no response.
I am currently unable to request a payout due to a bug on their website, and on top of that, a portion of my earnings (Q4) is missing from my balance. This means I cannot access money that is rightfully mine.
Even more concerning, I was promised assistance to recover retroactive royalties from one streaming platform, but after multiple follow-ups, I have been completely ignored.
Lack of transparency, no communication, and technical issues blocking payouts, this is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for a distributor handling artists’ revenue.
At this point, I strongly advise other artists to be cautious before trusting this service with their music and earnings.

Honestly surprised me in a good way

Honestly surprised me in a good way. Everything is super simple, I just uploaded the release, and it showed up on all the major platforms, including TikTok and YouTube Content ID!

What I really liked is that you can still make edits to the release even after it’s already live.

There’s also daily stats ❤️, and the personal dashboard is so intuitive that I barely had to figure anything out. If you’re switching from another distributor, Alligator can even restore your streaming data

It's been a little over a year since my…

It's been a little over a year since my last review...
What's changed? Technical support has become a little more responsive.

There are no more advantages here...

If there are updates to the rules, then I, as a user, find out about it completely by accident. This company does not consider it important or necessary to notify users about changes.

Payments are still made with interruptions and terrible delays... Soon it will be a month since I've been expecting a payment for the 4th quarter of 2024!!! Although the terms are 10 working days. Do you think this is normal??

According to our agreement, quarterly payments are transferred to the Licensor within 45 business days after we receive funds from streaming platforms. In most cases, we complete payouts within 10 business days, but delays can occur due to late transfers from the platforms themselves, which is unfortunately outside our control.

That said, we want to stress: all payments are processed in full. No exceptions. No skipped transfers. Unlike many distributors where artists wait up to a year or more, we fulfill every payout obligation without fail. This is a matter of principle and professionalism for us.

As for your case: we have not been able to identify you as a registered user. If you're genuinely using our service, please send the email associated with your account so we can verify and resolve the situation. Without this, your claims cannot be addressed properly and remain anonymous in nature.

Reliable distributor

I have only had positive experiences in the past year of working with MusicAlligator, and a significant part of my label's catalog is distributed with them. The main advantages are a fast approval process, easy metadata entry experience, and efficient promo indeed. Their premium subscription is also worth applying for.

Judging by the reviews

Judging by the reviews, I’m not the only one who has encountered disgusting service and work from this distributor.

This distributor has a paid service - uploading your track to UGC platforms, YouTube Content, SoundCloud and others, plus accelerated moderation and release compared to usual.
IT'S ONLY NOT WORKING. The tracks have been in moderation for several weeks, although everything has been paid for. What was paid for is unknown. Technical support is silent, as if it does not exist, and the feedback form is needed to simulate the opportunity to contact them.

On the FAQ page there is a line that payments are made quarterly. Okay, there are four quarters in a year, which means payments must be made four times a year. However, half a year has already passed since the beginning of 2024, the payment was made only once, and then with a wild delay for the fourth quarter of 2023.
Actually, I repeat, six months have already passed and reports and payments for the first one! the 2024 quarter is not yet available.
Therefore, we can assume that with such speed of service, royalty calculations and reports, you will receive your payments a maximum of three times a year, and then this is in the best case.

Like the people who left their experience from below, I was faced with the disgusting work of technical support, or rather its absence, silence, delays in payments and reports, and suspicious charging of payments.

P.S. Below, the representative responded to people that Musicalligator solves the problem. BUT apparently they are in no hurry to solve them.

Verdict - I absolutely do not recommend it.

I am sharing my impressions of using MusicAlligator.

At the beginning of 2022, namely spring, the service worked perfectly. Responsive technical support, payments were made on time and without delays, any problems were reported in their vk group.
Then a year later the service began to go downhill. Technical support responded with a delay, payments were made with a delay.
What do we have at the beginning of 2024?
The administration of MusicAlligator did not pay royalties in euros for the third quarter of 2023. And judging by the experience of communicating with some users of this service, it is not only me who has not been paid the money I earned.
Initially, it was promised that royalties would be credited to personal accounts on November 30th. As a result, accruals to personal accounts occurred on December 18. Actually, on this day I created an application for payment of the funds I earned.
Today is January 9th. Payment in euros has not yet been made.
Technical support does not respond either on the website (the question about payments was created on December 29) or by email.

It looks like the service is dead

It looks like the service is dead. I have been waiting for confirmation of some contract for 4 days, while I need to release a track in the coming days. Support also does not respond for about a day. I don't understand at all whether it makes sense to wait and waste time on this distributor...
