We have been looking to complete a trekking holiday either the Himalayas, Atlas Mountains or dolomites. We looked at all the holidays on the Much better adventures website to gain knowledge etc about the trekking holidays. The content of the website is fantastic, each time i called to ask questions about the 3 different treks, the knowledge of the customer service people was very good, knowledgeable. We eventually decided for many reasons to do the hut to hut trek in the Pyrenees.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and family.

Looking through the inspiring and detailed information on all the different destinations and trip styles (with stunning photos) is the hardest part, with so much choice on which to base your decision. Booking, however, was extremely straightforward!

Finding a trip was ok, lots of filters are helpful but it would be even better to have a "sort by" feature so one can sort by price (ascending / descending), trip length, etc. The booking process was very easy. On the payment page, I was pleased that the site automatically applied the credit I had left over from a previously cancelled trip. It was also good to see that they have a Facebook page to connect with other MBA travellers. Excited for my forthcoming trip.

Annapurna circuit- Well organised, a lot of information about the area with the trek. Felt safe at all times. Listen to your guides to avoid tummy troubles etc at altitude. No worries about travelling solo as you meet wonderful, like-minded people. This is my third adventure with MBA and have a fourth booked already!

Oh my goodness - What a blast!
With temperatures dropping to -40c we had a great arctic challenge . The guides Tiina, Joonathan and Luucie were very professional, super competent and great fun .The activities were excellent with lots of choice and flexibility .The group gelled well ,especially when we were together in Bliss Lodge. We came home tired, smiling and a bit in love with Lapland winter. R&J

Overall, it's a great company with excellent service. I've travelled with them on numerous occasions. While I found them a bit pricey at times, especially in Europe, their team is genuinely friendly and professional.

Great trip overall. Hamid our guide and Ashoo (spelling?) our driver were fabulous and could not have been better. Itinerary was great as well.

The only complaints I have are around the lodging. The place we stayed in the mountains had beds that felt like sleeping on cardboard with a table cloth, and the Fes Inn where we stayed in Fes was terrible. We stayed there even though the itinerary said we were supposed to stay in a Riad in Fes. Further, reviews of this Inn were very bad (I read reviews from well before we booked which is concerning) with many reviewers sharing their experience of having belongings stolen from their rooms. I am frustrated to say that this happened to me and should not have and would not have if MBA had been up on the reviews of this place. It was also not very nice overall and again, not clear why we didn't stay in a Riad and was very disappointed that instead we stayed in a gross hotel where I had a small travel jewelry box stolen that included a pair of earrings and most importantly a prescription that I needed to go and find at a pharmacy (luckily they had it).

MBA should not have booked at this hotel and I wish I could get some sort of restitution for what was stolen from me but don't expect anything. To be clear, I didn't leave anything there and then try to get it back - it was stolen out of our room and I noticed while still staying there. They brought in maids to look through the room and pretend they didn't know that it had been stolen. Other members of our tour had small items stolen that were of little consequence but the prescription medicine was not ok.

Finally, again, the trip was fabulous overall, the guide was perfect and the itinerary was really great but please do better when you book your lodging, MBA!!!

Great communication with Luke who answered all my questions on the details of a proposed trip. I am more likely to go ahead and book after the ‘live chat’.

Had an excellent booking experience with Much Better Adventures! Mike was very helpful answering my initial questions, and Nelly was incredible - guiding me through the options and giving great advice. Adding the single occupancy supplement was clear and easy, and I felt fully supported throughout. Very professional and friendly - I’m really looking forward to my Kilimanjaro climb and safari!

We travelled to Ecuador and the Galapagos with MBA and it was honestly the trip of a lifetime. We have booked again this year for a trip to Sri Lanka. The customer service is 10/10, always helpful and friendly (I always have lots of questions..!). If you are thinking about booking a trip with MBA, just do it!!

Amazing customer support team- we had a few queries prior to booking our Ben Nevis trip- the team were super responsive , knowledgeable and helpful which gave us real confidence when making our booking.

This review is just for the booking process. I found the trip I wanted and it was easy to book with a reasonable deposit. Communication has been good from the MBA as regards the booking.
