I am only give this review as one due to a lovely front desk staff they were warm and extremely diligent to their job and actually called me back on my querie. Paul at Front desk you are amazing and really toon the time to understand your resident. Thank you for a positive experience this morning. MTVH as a whole is a car crash! Repair request taking years to complete and no consideration of tenants specially ones that look after the homes.
Thank you Paul.

MTVH did not deal with my issue in any satisfactory way. I called up to make sure that there was a follow up inquiry about our roof being fixed. There is water coming through the tiles and being caught in the felt. Causing water to drip and trickle across the entire loft space. Mainly trickling down above the bedroom, causing black mold to fester in the corner of our room. I have really bad asthma so the constant growth of black mold in the room i sleep in is incredibly concerning. I already know that this mold cannot be dealt with until the roof is fixed. Now ive called up and asked about an update on the roof being fixed. I was told "oh, doesn't seem to be any further inquiry noted"...
Let that sink in. "No further inquire noted" about our roof that is leaking and causing black mold to fester in our bedroom.
I was told, dont worry. They're going to send off a request for enquiry and get an appointment booked for your roof.
I have now received an email. Unrelated to anything about a roof appointment or fix. Telling me (again) for the third time that "die to that leak in the roof, we cannot deal with the black mold in the bedroom until the roof is fixed..."
So, not actually dealing with the roof leak itself. Instead shrugging that off completely and sending me the same automated "we cant deal with mold until roof leak is fixed email".
I did not call up to have the black mold dealt with as I have been told countless times it cant be done "until the roof is fixed"
I called up to get an update (about the rood fix itself) and yet again I have been mis directed and given the same irrelevant response.
Further more, I was told that the excess of moisture build up on our bedroom windows and doors (glass) is because "we dont have the heating on high enough/need thicker curtains" we were also advised to use "HG Moldspray" for the windows, door and corner of the room caused by the mold.
We have thick curtains which we have stitched blankets on ourselves to make them even thicker. We have had the heating on, on every type of temperature (high amd low) and there is still moisture build up, which then cause mold.
The HG spray we were told to use needs extra care if you are asthmatic. Needing 12 to 24hrs to fully vent if its in the room that you sleep in. This has caused irritation to my lungs and meant that we have had to sleep on our living room floor when it is being done.
The mold spray is only a temporary fix and is not working. We have tried the curtains, heating and it is still sopping wet with condensation every single day. I have also discovered that the sealant on both doors and windows and the windows in the living room have rotten away causing a bitter cold draft to constantly blow through from the windows and doors...
So that is actually the cause of the heavy condensation on doors and front & back windows. It is (not) a problem on our end. Further more i have found out that MTVH housing as our landlord are (Legally Required) to male sure that all tennants window and door sealants are secure and uncompromised.
And still. We are told no we cannot do anything until the roof is fixed (which isnt being fixed because they haven't raised thw inquiry).
So now I am left with no choice but to make a formal complaint about this situation to MTVH about the roof, rotten window sealant. Cleaning chemicals being suggested without proper consideration for health as a a way to band aid the problem.
I will also taking this further to the housing Ombudsmand service if this continues after I have made the formal complaint about MTVH
I am a Tennant who lives in this flat with my partner who is an occupant.
We pay our rent, council tax and bills all on time and have no anti social complaints against us. Yet we feel treated as if we were bad tennants who dont deserve to be taken seriously or have our lively hood and wellbeing honored.
I am incredibly dissatisfied with my treatment from MTVH and am appalled by the service the we are paying to receive. We cannot even decorate properly in fear that our belongings will be damaged by the damp and mold issues.

I have called twice since moving in, and Mia has answered quickly both times. She has been genuinely helpful - clear on what to do, who owns what, and what the next steps are. I had a few overlapping issues and had to do some detective work to work out the right route. Once I got through to Mia, she helped map it properly and moved things forward.
Based on responsiveness, clarity, and how quickly she got to workable solutions, Mia has been excellent.

A really shite company. Mess up the rent and then expect you to pay £155 per month to pay off their error. If we had extra money do you really think we would live in this dump run by this god awful company.

I have been a resident with MTVH for 13 years. I am now looking to move due to personal circumstances and have received email support from Julie P. She is quick to respond and extremely helpful. I suffer with anxiety and she really helped to make things easier for me.
