I bought a table cover from them in December 2025, by April 2026 it was fraying and the elastic ties to hold the cover on were either fraying or broken. I messaged them from their website, no reply, so I rang them and they said they’d not received my message and asked me to email. I emailed, no reply, rang them, they’d not got my email either…started to feel suspicious but I emailed again, rang again was told they’d get back to me - absolutely nothing, no response no contact. Very disappointing. This was my second purchase from them the first being garden furniture but I won’t buy from them again. Very poor customer service.

This is sadly my second review.
I purchased Lutyens garden furniture with cushions in March. Delivery of furniture in April.
I am still awaiting cushions. Entire summer without them. Several emails ..constantly told that the straits of Hormuz are to blame ??? This is outrageous..replace from alternative source or refund. Be very wary of this company …constant excuses and zero accountability.

Eventually our teak bench arrived and it is very nice indeed , but I would say communication from Mr Teak is not great hence my 4 star review

Beautiful bench - only reason it's not 5 stars is because the pack if bungs and screw has too many bungs and too few screws! Part from that a wonderful bench. Have asked for additional screws!

The cushion was half the size I expected.

Product is fine but delivery not good. Company claim to have tried to deliver but we were in and no note was left. We had to wait in a second day to take delivery.

The company was professional from first contact to the delivery . Delivery was quick, and the delivery men very polite and helpful. The seats/benches are first class. We even forgot to include our discount, but a quick email ensured it was refunded to our card without delay. A pleasure to deal with.

Lovely bench smooth delivery

Received new bench, packaging was battered. Quickly noticed poorly cut joints and holes not aligned, most dowels supplied split. Sent a message via Mr Teak website, called with no answer, sent email as well - no response. Would not recommend purchasing from Mr Teak.

Our second purchase from Mr Teak. Outstanding service & quality. We are delighted with our Lutyens Bench.

The bench arrived earlier than expected, fully assembled (which was a Brucey bonus). It looks grand and appears to be really well put together.
Will it still be about in 40 years like the one it replaced ….. it’ll be a long wait!

Prompt delivery apart from the cushions its been over two weeks and am still waiting for them.

The website says FREE SHIPPING, but when I ordered I learned there is a fee for the islands…
Only after my inquiry I received information on shipping and tracking.
The finish of the bench is good, assembling it was straightforward and as simple as it could have been. All parts fitted perfectly. Only I consider the screws delivered with the kit on the small side.
Not too small is the bench itself. Judging by the size of the seat surface it seems to aim at rather large and big people. Moreover the insufficient incline of the backrest and its rather angular top edge means that the overall ergonomics fall short of what they should be. Sitting down on this bench will certainly not make me sigh and smile because of its great comfort.
Repacking the bench which had been put together is, according to the return policy, not accepted. An inquiry by email remains unanswered. So what about the MONEY BACK GUARANTEE?
I knew one should test seating furniture. Had I sat on the bench beforehand I wouldn’t have purchased it. So, clearly my mistake. The near to non existent communication added to the disappointment. Would I use Mr. Teak again? No, thank you!

Fantastic, delivered quickly, with care.

We are delighted with the quality of our new bench. The company advised when it would be delivered and also gave us the phone number of the delivery company so that we could check everything was going to plan.

Great product easy to assemble

Customer service unhelpful very rude never returned telephone calls and did not follow through with their actions ie: did not act on our issues until we involved Klarna I would avoid this company like the plague

Customer service is very good. Furniture is of good quality, sturdy, well made and nicely finished.
