I have laid a case of theft against Mr Shopper for not receiving refund.
No company should be able to continue stealing from customers!

Placed an order and paid for it 30 Nov 2020, finally spoke to someone in early january and was told that there had been a mix up with my order but all would be ok and i would recieve it in a week. No one came back to me, I then managed to get someone on the phone again but was told that all the consulatants were busy and they would get back to me.No One came back to me, numerous emails were ignored. I then chatted to the bot online and at least it replied , even asked me for my order details and even promised an number of times that a consultant would contact me about a refund.. still nothing. they are just Thieves

Been 4 months. Still have not received my order. Can’t count the number of times they have lied to me.

ORDERED GOODS AND PAID FOR ON 20TH DECEMBER 2020, PROMISSED DELIVERY BY 29TH DECEMBER. I AM STILL WAITING. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE, WHEY THEY EVENTULLY DO
ONE IS ASKED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE AS THE PERSON IS NOT AVAILABLE.

I still haven’t received my order 2 months later and they not responding to my requests for a refund! I don’t want the items anymore! I order to a value of over R7000. My order numbers are: #45526 , 45525 , #45457. I want a refund immediately and this company is ignoring me and refusing to comply. They require legal action taken against them from the amount of fraud I’ve read about in the reviews about them.

I do feel bad for everyone who spend more than 1k+....
10k+.... I would cry my eyes out.
I only made a small purchase of R850, but still just the idea that I was scammed with such a 'legit looking company website'. I normally buy from Takealot, Runwaysales (both reliable e-commerce) , just thought prices are so good on Mr.Shopper, delivery dates quoted are FAST as all items are listed in stock - WOW! Also you could have the live chat on their website and track your order; again all making it look so real! What a well put together scam!

I notice that the company is showing permanently closed on google search??? Can anyone confirm this, there is also no answer and people that have gone to the Midrand warehouse says it is empty now; they either moved or they did close down? I still feel the masterminds has to be held accountable, just closing down the website is not justice.

I never received my order. Eventually requested a refund, which I have also not received. No one answers their phones or emails, and the limited replies I do get from the chat option are rude and useless.

Honestly. DONT SHOP HERE. Placed order on 10 Jan 2021. Made 10 000 calls and email. Got 100 promises but still no product delivered. Takes your money quickly, then disappears. I have finally requested a refund but that should also take forever to come back. Going to the Consumer Goods and Service Ombuds now. HAD ENOUGH.

Absolute SCAM, cannot get delivery or a refund, why do the police do nothing about this

No customer service
Delivery dates are moved all the time
No response to emails
No promised refund, its a more than a month now

I share the same views as others. It is now 3 months and several phone calls and emails and no delivery and no refund. It seems I need to write off the R4000 I paid for a gas braai. This is just unacceptable - I dont know what else to do to get a refund. Surely there must be a avenue for us to get our money back

I don't even want to select a 1 star. There must be a O to describe them. I have ordered a fridge from them in Jan 2021. Delivery was scheduled for 12 Jan 2021 then moved out twice again. I've eventually requested a refund which I was promised would happen on the 14th of February 2021. Up to now nothing!! R17k gone!!! I don't get any response back from them. I will be taking this matter further!

I've ordered bricks,stone and sand through Mr.Shopper as from December. Goods purchased through Mr. Shopper is to the value of roughly R33000.
I've phoned numerous times. When using the 0860 number it tells me this number doesn't exist. When I phone the 011 number it,s constantly telling me the person to which this extension number is allocated to is currently busy or is unavailable right now. I've been supplied with an 083 number and this number for the last two days is not taking my calls. I've been given various dates on which delivery will happen but up to now ,no deliveries. Emails is not returned even though they say we,LL come back to you. So people if you want to know from me , don't waste your time by shopping through Mr. Shopper.
I don't know what to do to get my money back from them because they might be taking me for a ride. I,LL have to see how I can institute legal action as it is nearly 3 months now that I'm waiting for goods that is not forthcoming. I say to you people don't buy through Mr. Shopper

Do not buy from Mr Shopper. For all my many, many years I have really learnt nothing. I actually ordered a product advertised by this store, paid them R4650 in advance for headphones to be delivered by Xmas. Received back a delivery advice for Dec16. NO DELIVERY. Repromised for Jan. NO DELIVERY. Repromised again now for Feb 13. NO DELIVERY. NOW TOO LATE I READ OTHER REVIEWS and see similar experiences. How can they continue to operate? Surely there must be hundreds of similar experiences. Unfortunately I live in Western Cape and cannot travel to Johannesburg to bang on their doors. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I placed an order on the 4th of December, my first delivery date was set as the 19 December, then moved to 21 January. Still nothing. No communication at all, you cant get hold of anyone on the phone or emails. Terrible service. I am trying to get a refund now.

I ordered on the 24th and my delivery date has been changed several different times. At this point they don’t answer the phone or emails and I’ve sent a report to Carte Blanche and I will be filling a police report because it’s incredibly dishonest and unfair to people just trying to receive what THEY paid for. Their website is bogus and their locations and parent companies are also bogus and at this point I suggest that people begin to file a police report for theft and money laundering.

If I could I would have rated MR SHOPPER a 0.
It is hard to reach them, if you do. I bought goods last year December and payed through Payfast. The next day went to check on the status of my order and they cancelled it. Still waiting for an explanation and a refund, Payfast also informed me today that MR Shopper has insufficient funds so I cant be refunded and should take legal action, and they also wont be a pay medium for them any longer. I do hope this place runs out of business as they are stealing people's money. The 'good' reviews about this place is properly fake profiles that was opened by them. I also saw they have removed their Facebook profile as that was only bad reviews.

Hi if you are reading this and are contemplating purchasing from Mr Shopper. DO NOT!

Mr Shopper is a scam and they will not deliver your good or refund you when they do not deliver.

And you must forget about getting ahold of them via telephone or email.

STAY AWAY

I've placed and paid my order on 26.12.2020. No delivery, no answer by mail, or phone. I'll never recommend this shop to anyone and forward this matter to my attorney. Be warned: it's a deeply disappointing company, don’t buy there.

Mr Shopper should not be allowed to do business. It is completely unreliable and does not deliver as promised. Their call centre does not function, emails are the same empty promises (worded exactly the same) and the so-called agents do not contact you. They have no scruples, lack accountability and simply do not treat their customers fairly and with respect. NEVER, NEVER, EVER BUY FROM THEM.
