Great value for money at a price less than many other quotes we received.
Despite some unexpected complications along the way requiring extra work, the final price remained pretty much the same as the original quote.

Unbelievably slow. When I originally bought my garage in 2005, I instructed a solicitor on 5 July and completed on 27 August. Selling it through MoveHomeFaster took over five months! And that's with constant chasing and pleading and referring back to the broker to get them to push the solicitor. The solicitor did absolutely nothing for the first month, rarely updated the portal, was difficult to get hold of and required constant chasing. This was a supposedly easy transaction (it's a garage! -- no mortgage, no valuation survey, no chain, no utilities...) that ate up a huge amount of time. Less expensive than other solicitors, but their slowness makes the process very stressful. Avoid.

'MoveHomeFaster' assign your solicitor/conveyancer from a panel and then effectively don't really have any further input and any issues are left to the customer to deal directly with the solicitor.

Unfortunately, we were assigned a solicitor (Arshad Hussein Aziz - Right Legal Solicitors) who did nothing for 5 weeks, didn't answer the phone, didn't respond to emails, rarely updated the portal and after 13 weeks we almost lost our buyers and put the house we wanted at risk. MoveHomeFaster's initial response was that they couldn't really help as the case was with ourselves and the solicitor!

A special mention does go to Natalie Trevelyan from MoveHomeFaster who went above and beyond in order to save our fate and she put us on to Joy Crawford from Longespe & Co solicitors. Joy was a revelation.. always chasing, always available on the end of a phone and updating us (and the portal) with evidence of progress.

If I was reviewing Natalie Trevelyan (MoveHomeFaster) and Joy Crawford (Conveyancing - Longespe & Co Solicitors) individually, they would undoubtedly get maximum marks but as far as MoveHomeFaster goes, I think it's a 'service' that isn't really required and it's luck of the draw regarding who you are assigned. If anyone else gets Arshad Hussein Aziz then quite simply, fight your case to get it changed before you lose a lot of money, your sale/purchase and your sanity.

This company acts only like agents, once their intermediary fee has been paid, you are on your own, any of your concerns expressed will be totally ignored. They linked me with a company called Brearley Law since 9th December 2021 and up till now the deal is yet to be completely finalised. I contacted them several times when experience delay from Brearley Law in exchanging contract but no response from them. I am yet to get the outcome of land registration up till now since 25th April that the contract had been finally exchanged. The agreed fee was along the line increased. Better search for your own trusted solicitor

Top notch service from Longespe Solicitors. Responsive, efficient and friendly. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Excellent service from MHF and their solicitor Tracey Longespe who acted for us. Tracey sorted out an oversight by previous solicitors and saved the day with the whole transaction. Cannot recommend highly enough.

MHF put me in touch with Solicitors who were very reasonably priced, easy to deal with and did the job exactly as required. As good as it gets really.

An excellent hub of conveyancing solicitors. My quote was half the price of that from the estate agency. The work was excellent in terms of the pace of it and I was always able to contact my solicitor on the phone and by email. I will definitely be using them again if I need a conveyancing solicitor.

Did the job as expected, what more can I ask?

I used Movehomefaster for the conveyancing for purchase of my new property and subsequently for the sale of my old one. They provided me with good conveyancers in both cases at a very reasonable cost. As well as the reasonable cost, they were very helpful with queries and general supervision of the conveyancing. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't need a locally-based conveyancer & who wishes to save money without sacrificing the level of service that they get.
