I have ordered 4 items (fleece) on 22/9. Up till now, I still have not received my order or any email confirmation but mysteriously similar amount of money was withdrawn from my account. I had sent three emails to them using the one provided by “ contact us”. But they never replied. I felt being cheated. I will never buy things from this brand or items sold outside the UK.

Do not buy from Mountain Hardware if you are in the UK

In the UK, you aren't purchasing from Mountain Hardwear but a distributor called 2Pure.ltd which has gone into administration. They don't answer emails or phone calls, and it is not possible to arrange a return or refund as it says you can on their website. Avoid.

BEWARE FRAUDULENT WEBSITE

We ordered a few things from this company in the UK. It is run by a distributor/contractor called 'Pure' something or other, I think. And the invoices, or packing slips, can be confusing due to them not showing the sale prices.

Anyway, although we have not had to return anything, the process of ordering and delivery was efficient and quick and over xmas they actually sent something out special delivery without our asking or paying extra, which was impressive. They will sometimes have things that, for some reason, shops in the UK fail to stock ( even though they are highly praised online from the USA and almost unique in the outdoor market). Hard to understand why more Mountain Hardwear clothing isn't available in the UK, as it is very good and at one point was widely available in shops like Cotswolds.

EDIT: CHANGED REVIEW TO REFLECT THAT MHW UK WEBSITE IS GONE (AS COMPANY SELLING THAT BRAND HAS GONE BUST) *HOWEVER* THERE IS NOW A FRAUDULENT WEBSITE USING A SIMILAR URL NAME, WHICH IS NOT GENUINE, AND MHW USA HAVE BEEN INFORMED YET THEY'RE STILL OPERATING FRAUDULENTLY! BEWARE!!!!!!
