We take this allegation very seriously, as calling a legitimate business a scam can seriously mislead other customers. We would therefore like to give you the opportunity to verify the facts before making such a claim.

MotorVerify.ie is a genuine vehicle history-check service. Customers can place an order, pay through our authorised payment process, receive an order reference, and receive the vehicle report associated with their purchase. We keep records of all transactions and orders and are fully prepared to provide the relevant information to verify your particular transaction.

If something went wrong with your order, or if you believe the information in your report was incorrect, we are willing to investigate it properly. We would much rather resolve the actual issue with you than have you remain under the impression that you were dealing with a fraudulent business.

At the same time, we respectfully ask you to distinguish between a disappointing experience, a disagreement with the information in a report, or a communication issue — and a business actually being a scam. These are very different and very serious allegations.

Please contact us with the specific reason you believe MotorVerify.ie is fraudulent. We will address your concern directly and provide the appropriate supporting information.

If, after reviewing our explanation, you agree that MotorVerify.ie is a legitimate business and that the "scam" description arose from a misunderstanding or an unresolved issue, we would sincerely appreciate you updating or removing the review so that it accurately reflects your experience.

We are not asking you to leave a positive review or to say anything untrue — only that the review accurately represents the facts.

If someone asked you to buy a vehicle check from MotorVerify.ie and sent you our link, that alone doesn't make MotorVerify.ie a scam. We are a legitimate Irish vehicle history-check service, providing reports to customers who choose to use us.

If you believe someone is trying to scam you through a vehicle sale, we strongly recommend reporting that person and the circumstances. Please don't confuse the actions of an individual who contacted you with the legitimacy of the independent website they directed you to.

If you did purchase a report from us and believe there was a problem, send us your order details and we will investigate.

We're happy to address genuine concerns, but calling a legitimate business a "100% scam" without evidence that MotorVerify.ie itself committed fraud can seriously mislead other customers.

We encourage you to verify the facts, and if your concern turns out to involve the individual who contacted you rather than MotorVerify.ie, we respectfully ask you to update your review so it accurately reflects your experience.

We understand why this situation made you suspicious, especially if someone on Facebook pressured you to buy a vehicle report. Your caution with an unknown buyer is entirely reasonable.

However, one important point needs clarifying: the behaviour of someone contacting you on Facebook should not be confused with the legitimacy of MotorVerify.ie.

If a buyer directed you to MotorVerify.ie and insisted you purchase a report, your concern should be with that buyer's intentions and the circumstances of the sale—it does not by itself prove that MotorVerify.ie is a scam. MotorVerify.ie is a legitimate Irish vehicle history-check website that provides reports to customers who choose to use the service. We have no control over who shares our website or how third parties represent our service during private sales.

We also encourage anyone receiving a suspicious request from a potential buyer to stop the transaction, report the individual to Facebook, and avoid sending money or personal information until they are confident the buyer is genuine.

If you did purchase a report from MotorVerify.ie and believe our company itself acted improperly, we would be glad to investigate your order and address your concerns directly.
