Ordered my vehicle from another branch to view cost £199 would have been happy if it was refunded on purchasing the vehicle.
On viewing the Car I was pleased with the way it was presented to me.
And the overall cost of the vehicle was very favourable to purchasing from a Subaru dealership or any other garage with the same year or model on there forecourts.
Although my pick up day coincided with a very busy showroom I was very happy with the handover of ownership.
A big thank you to Jake who was very helpful and professional.
Overall I'm delighted with my purchase and understand why Motorpoint is so busy .

So motorpoint will sell you a car. You request the paint coating at a cost of 400 pounds. The cleaning department apply the coating and mess it up. You give them chances to rectify the error and they make it worse. They also don’t mask trims and mess them up also. You raise this and you are told that this is within motorpoint quality even though the prep area have messed up. Then you talk to the manager of the site and he says we are not going to rectify our issue as he didn’t take the prep managers conclusion he said that’s his opinion. You then want to raise a complaint and they say well the site manager said no so that is as far as we can take it. So word of caution never pay for the additional paint protection if you don’t want issues if it’s not applied properly. Motorpoint were good when they wanted to sell the car. But the after sales is not good. And they. Any even put a number plate on straight after multiple times I ended up doing it myself

Motorpoint offered me £2100 part…
Motorpoint offered me £2100 part exchange for my car. I had described the condition of the car honestly to them. Once I arrived at the showroom they changed their offer to £1300. I declined to do business with them and they immediately offered me £1500. I again declined and 3 hours later they called and offered a further £100. Even with that revised price it was still £500 below the price I agreed. I would not recommend doing a part exchange with Motorpoint.

Long Journey, Unanswered Questions and Disappointing Experience
We travelled from Rochester, Kent to Peterborough with my wife and son specifically to view a Ford Fiesta ST-3 that we had reserved.
The car itself drove well, but we left disappointed because several things we saw in person did not match our expectations from the advert and the information available beforehand.
The advert photos showed Michelin tyres, but when we inspected the vehicle it had different front tyres fitted. While the replacement tyres may be perfectly acceptable, we expected the vehicle to match the photos we had travelled to see.
The original front floor mats were also missing.
We spent considerable time asking questions about the vehicle's history, ownership changes, service history and tyre changes. Unfortunately, the salesperson was unable to provide satisfactory answers to many of our concerns and repeatedly stated that the price was fixed with no flexibility at all.
For a vehicle costing nearly £17,000, we expected clearer answers regarding:
* Ownership history
* Service history
* Tyre changes
* Differences between the advert photos and the actual vehicle
We completed our own HPI checks, inspected the vehicle thoroughly and carried out a test drive, but ultimately did not have enough confidence in the overall history and presentation of the vehicle to proceed.
The journey from Kent took up most of our day, and we left feeling that more accurate information and better preparation before our visit would have saved everyone time.
I appreciate that other buyers may be satisfied, but unfortunately this particular experience did not meet our expectations.

Really positive and easy experience selling my car. Took me a short time to get a valuation online and easy to book an appointment. Uploaded information before the appointment to save time.
When I arrived, walked into reception and was greeted immediately by a friendly receptionist who was on the phone but smiled and grabbed a colleague to help me straight away. Booked in, short wait to see Kelvin, who explained the process really simply and easily. Inspected the car which took no more than 10 minutes. Couple of other staff members acknowledged me as they walked past, so felt welcome in their business. Offer was not changed from online offer despite a couple of extra issues with car that I wasn't aware of so hadn't declared. Sale agreed and funds in my account within minutes of confirmation.
Kelvin then processed the DVLA notification on my behalf and helped me with the final bits
A hugely pleasant experience. Offer was 50% higher than We Buy Any Car, after all their deductions. Slightly less convenient to travel to Motorpoint, but well worth the extra time involved for the service and price - if you want certainty in the offer and you have a branch close-ish to you, I'd thoroughly recommend going to Motorpoint above anyone else. Thanks Kelvin and team for the excellent experience.
