Motor Connect Reviews 

We purchased a car just under 2 years ago from Motor Connect and had none stop issues with the car they sold to us.

When test driving the vehicle originally we detected steering issues and lagging problems and Motor Connect assured us don’t worry this will be looked at and fixed before we collected the vehicle.

We saw the previous MOT to detect a long list of advisory’s and they also assured us that these would be fixed!

What a bunch of liars! The MOT surprise, surprise has no advisors on there when we collected the car but when we started to drive the car we still had the same issues with the steering and lagging so no this hasn’t been fixed! We took it to there designated garage to have the suspension fixed! They only fixed part of this issue! After going back and two to the garage they ended up putting two new tyres on and tracking. We still had an issue.

After driving around for 12 months with constant banging, clunks and pulling we took the car for an MOT to discover every advisory what was on the first MOT was still on there and that no repairs had been carried out! We had an immediate fail, can not drive until a long list of issues were fixed, they also had to finish the other part of the suspension as they had forgot to do this correctly at the warranty garage, they had only fitted the suspension arm without the ball joint! This is a standard complete repair! After paying a fair bit of money out we then got engine light faults after engine light faults which resulted in us paying a few thousand pounds out for the repairs, one of the repairs being a new turbo! This is why there was a lag at the start when test driving!

Motor connect also told us MOT garages don’t need to state advisories on MOT’s anymore?? This is one to watch!

I thought going to a local garage would have been a trustworthy experience than what we received! We were sold a faulty car and Motor connect just stated when we called them and emailed them to bring on trading standards. I would avoid Motor connect with a passion! We have now paid out more than what we paid for the car, it’s basically a write off! The trust has totally gone.

What a let down for our town. We would have given zero stars if this was possible. AVOID.

The 2nd car I have purchased from Motor Connect and I would like to say what an extreme pleasure it was. I phoned them and advised them what I was looking for and two days later I was driving out in my new car. Absolutely fantastic service from a great company. Reece, Graham and Steve were so helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else…Highly recommended.

Agreed a price over the phone for them to buy my car. The sent a driver to collect my car (he drove 165 miles!) he then proceeded to tell me that my car was dinted, scratched etc which it wasn’t. Unbeknownst to him if already had it appraised. He then offers me well below what was originally agreed. At no point did anyone tell me that the agreed price would be negotiable so complete waste of everyone’s time.

THEN I find out that they’ve already set up finance on my car to sell it on to someone before they even bought it from me! I try to sell to someone else and he won’t buy because it says there’s finance against the car!! So not only have they completely wasted my time by sending someone on a 300+ round trip, but they set up finance on a car they don’t own which results in me not being able to sell my car on.

Absolutely ridiculous service.

job done .
I am also happy with a purchased vehicle as it’s so clean and it is what I was looking for and found it in this company after a long term .
Will recommend this company to anyone around looking for quality and immaculate vehicle .

This Garage was so helpful especially Mike, who kept in touch through the transfer of my vehicle. Mike sent an indepth video of every part and gave a honest report. Mike even sorted out delivery for me. Lovely to do business with and would definitely recommend them. Thank you Mike 😊

Filled in the application on-line same day I got a phone call saying that I've been successful,cracking bunch of guys very helpful and understanding for what I needed. They found me a car for my step daughter's needs by the end of the day everything was done and dusted very happy with the outcome thanks to reece Mike and all staff at motor connect

This company are extremely good, sales staff, not pushy, just let me look around, when I picked my car arranged everything brilliantly, car was spotless with 12months MOT. All done within a week, would highly recommend.

What an amazing team .Reece stepped in when Mike had a day of .Mike as a patience of a saint dealing with me lol ,for 2 weeks he was trying to get the best car for my needs after me searching and looking for different kinds of car ,mike finally got the one I wanted ,on top of that Mike actually brought the car for my inspection before I made my mind up (again) but yes that's the one I picked my Renault Clio , Mike then took the car back to get it all checked,and up to Motor connects 5star grade .Mike actually brought the car back to my home ,after his full shift . What a great company,I will defo be back when I need a new car next (sorry Mike) .
