We just finished a trip with Hamid from Morocco Meta Adventures and it was fantastic! We are a family with 3 teenagers kids and they thought this was one of the best trios that have been on!

From the very beginning planning stages to the very end the whole process was very professional, flexible to our needs, and well organized.

In the beginning Hamid worked with us to create an itinerary that catered to our needs. He was very helpful in suggesting and booking accommodations as well and even being flexible when there were some conditions we wanted to change (in fact it was because of him that we could even book into a booked up Riad!)

The drives itself were so comfortable. We were in a new Mercedes Van with comfortable seats, our own AC&heat control and even wifi! (Which was a total surprise to us, and definitely useful especially for long driving stretches).

Hamid also provided us with a bottle of water each every morning which was a really nice touch.

During the trip, Hamid was able to be flexible to the kids needs and wants in terms of things they were interested in.

We feel that such a huge part of trips is the people you meet along that way, and Hamid became more of a friend rather than a tour consultant: it was so fascinating to hear about the Morocco and its history from him. We really felt like we got a deep cultural immersion experience. The kids were also very interested in hearing about Morocco from him (to the extend that they wanted to sit in the seats right behind him so they could hear everything).

The thing though that we were most impressed with was Hamid’s compassion and kindness. The trip was so well organized and so professionally done. Thank-you so much for making this such a memorable trip.

Hamid is the owner and he's incredible! He values quality over quantity and his attention to detail and making you feel comfortable is very important to him. He was easy going when we initially contacted him. We were looking at a few guides but ultimately chose Hamid because we did not want to be on a timed tour group (in case we found some places more interesting than others). We found that the highlights of our trip were experiences that we were exposed to along our journey that we did not plan for but greatly valued. Hamid was candid with us when we said we didn't want to see all the historic places and instead spend more time in the few places we decided to see. He made our trip feel unrushed and relaxing instead of hectic. He was patient with our kids and was amazing to talk to during the trip as there are long stretches of driving. Hamid was reasonably priced and we found that it was well worth the cost for what we got out of the trip. We had an 8 day trip to Fes, then the Sahara desert , visiting Dades valley and finally Marrakech. The family and kids did not want to leave Hamid at the end of the journey and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I first traveled around Morocco with Mr. Hamid Boujouija 13 years ago and was so impressed by his exceptional service that I had to contact him again for this trip. Once again, he exceeded expectations, providing the same kindness, thoughtfulness, and thorough guidance that made my first journey so memorable.

Despite this trip taking place during Ramadan, Mr. Hamid remained as energetic and enthusiastic as ever. He was an incredibly safe and skilled driver, navigating long distances—sometimes up to 9 hours—with patience and care in his Toyota Land Cruiser.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this trip was the variety of landscapes we encountered. In March 2025, we journeyed through Morocco’s breathtakingly diverse scenery—from the hot deserts of Merzouga and vibrant streets of Marrakech to the cool coastal cities of Casablanca and Rabat, and even the snowy peaks of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. The temperature variations were just as striking, ranging from 1°C in Ifrane to 22°C in Merzouga, making every destination feel like a new adventure.

The itinerary was well-planned and seamless, with local guides arranged in Rabat, Fes, Volubilis, and Marrakech to enrich our experience. One of the highlights was the desert camp experience in Merzouga. Riding camels at sunset was breathtaking, and the luxury camp was wonderfully comfortable, complete with hot showers, electricity, and running water.

Every aspect of the trip was well-organized, showcasing Morocco’s incredible landscapes, history, and culture in the best possible way. From the bustling souks of Marrakech to the serenity of the High Atlas Mountains, every day was an adventure.

Hamid and his team at Morocco Meta-Adventures were extremely professional, timely, disciplined in handling our tour. What sets them apart is the fact that they combine this will a warm, flexible and can-do approach. Their local connections and knowledge allowed us to catch some unexpected experiences in Morocco.

Our group of four senior frequent-travelers took the 13-day Meta Majestic tour. Incomparable! Our driver Hamid (one of the two Boujouija brothers who own Meta) picked us up at the airport and shepherded us through the multiple stops on the tour. Hamid was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Local guides took over for many of the stops. Equally satisfactory. Accommocations were great -- and some of the riads were spectacular.
