My bus
My bus. The 17 to Poole was 15 minutes late. Appalling tbh. Made me late to work and this isn’t the first time either, I checked on the map and by the time the bus was supposed to arrive at my stop it had only just left Bournemouth. Clearly something to do with the staff

Zero stars, the worst and lowest educated humans alive drive these buses.one driver smoked his vape on the bus today
Awkward payment systems/tickets
The actual bus experience has been fine, though the bus is usually late, but it's usually a minimal wait. My issue is with the awkward processes around tickets.
Issue 1: I bought a multipack of 10 passes that worked out as the cheapest way to ride the bus (for my situation). This SHOULD be an easy and uncomplicated process but it's made awkward and stressful by making each pass only good for 15 minutes once activated. There was one time I couldn't get my pass to activate due to poor signal. If catching a bus in the morning, I'd need to activate my pass before leaving my home because that was the only place with guaranteed signal between there and the bus stop. Unfortunately, if the bus is late which it usually is, the ticket can time out. I feel like I'm being punished for other people who've possibly taken advantage of the system, by having such a short window (it takes 5 minutes to walk to my bus stop, I like to be there a few minutes early in case the bus is early, that's already 8 minutes...). I had one pass time out and the driver let me on anyway but I imagine they might think you're trying to scam them and it's not a good feeling.
Issue 2: Using the tap on/tap off method. I've been told that the journey I take is £2.30 each way. I've used the tap on/tap off and charged £5.20 for the day rate. I only get on the bus twice and logic would suggest I should be charged the cheapest available way which would be two singles (£4.60). This has not happened. It may seem minimal but an extra 60p each day adds up.
I'm glad I only have to use the bus as a temporary means as it's been frustrating. It's too expensive, not reliable and it's so easy to have things go wrong with the timed passes and tap on/tap off charging you more than it should. My experiences has made me hate the bus. It's become so expensive since I last used it.
This company is literally driving me…
This company is literally driving me insane. The bus is always 10 minutes late. I am on the bus stop 5 mins before, because sometimes it comes too early!!! The drivers are eating whilst driving, taking it easy, and clearly there is 0 punsiment for being late. I can understand if there is unexpected traffic, busy summer day, etc. But this happens on a regular basis, in the winter evening with 0 traffic. You can’t take your eyes of the road for 1 second, because otherwise you miss the bus. I wish there could be something done, but since this is the only bus company in Bournemouth, they can just get away with it. I wish I could give 0 stars and I hope this horrendous company goes bankrupt and some other company that will care about the paying customer will take over !!!! UNBELIAVABLY UNRELIABLE SERVICE. I’m about 3x times faster on my bicycle !!!
To the 50 old women with her Two year…
To the 50 old women with her Two year old daughter and chihuahua who was on the M1 on the 11th of November at around 18.00 pm I had second hand embarrassment for you,
You were taking ages to get off the bus and then had a fit at the driver calling him names as he drove off from the stop you wanted to get off, you gave him no warning you wanted to get off just messing about being slow and annoying for everyone, You also called your two year old daughter a name but I can not say on here as my review gets deleted.
Proper classy women.
I gave 5 stars for the driver who has to deal with these sort of people on a daily basis.
Go South Coast Scrooges.
Go South Coast are accounting area for Swinbus in Wiltshire (Shows up as this on Credit Card Statement).
Had a valid Plusbus ticket qr code in my Google wallet however, tried to scan it twice but wallet flicked over to my Credit Card both times and it took a £3 payment for a single fare instead.
Bus Driver stated nothing he could do about it and would have to contact customer services later after seeing my plusbus and keying it manually.
Customer Services at Go South Coast accounts contacted me back by email but stated that last 4 digits of card number, screenshots of trip tickets from wallet, along with plusbus screenshot - all showing dates, were insufficient to find Card transaction and wanted a lot more information about my credit card, including first 6 digits, Verification number from back of card but claimed still couldn't find transaction.
This went backwards and forwards for a number of emails, continually asking for more information, some of which I had already given, until I gave up out of sheer frustration, as I have far better things to do with my time than keep dealing with the customer service representative. All this for a piddling £3.
Fine for her - She's sat in a nice warm office and getting paid for this.
I have had to take early retirement and a drop in income to help my wife, maintain my home, and exercise dog etc.
I hope the Corporate Machine that is Go-Ahead group enjoy their, unearned, extra £3 profits which they obviously desperately need for down at heel shareholders and poorly paid executives bonuses.
Incidentally, I was a Bus Driver for 11 years with Citybus Plymouth, Part of Go-Ahead group, and if I hadn't given a customer the benefit of doubt over such a piddling amount, I would have, in all likelihood, recieved a disciplinary.
Think about connections
There was 15 minutes between the 40 bus arriving in Swanage and the 50 leaving - plenty of time to connect. The 40 arrived late at 14:05, the 50 had already left, surely you expect some of your customers will need to transfer between services.

Nr 14 bus to Bournemouth Hospital
He is not only a bus driver, he is also a very compassionate helpful busdriver and person to often ill and fragile people needing help to get to the hospital. I saw him escorts a lady with a walker to the pedestrian crossing ad she could not understand how to get to the opposite side of the road. He is friendly and reqlly goes "above and beyond" his actual duty of just driving a bus. People that take this bus ask more from him, ask for help with all kinds of things not bus driving related and he helps us all as he did a number of people in the ride we took back home to Kinson at around 1pm. Please give him a raise, and a promotion. I ca t think of anyone that deserves it more. Thanking you for your utmost kindness from the bottom our 💕 today.
Yours sincerely

Heating always on!
Despite mentioning it so many times, the heating in a lot of the buses seems to be on all the time even on hot sunny days. You would save yourselves a lot of money if you turned them off as a lot of us are continually opening the windows. It's no good gor anyone's health, as it's the hot environment causes germs to multiply more, especially when buses get full up.
You could ask your engineers to sort it out and perhaps have a way of allowing drivers to contol it, say in the winter months after 9pm when it really gets cold.
I hate hate these buses
I hate hate these buses IM ALWAYS LATE!! They come to town after being late to Lansdown and they change drivers there taking their sweet time having a laugh!! The money I pay does not include this! This is ridiculous they should be a lot faster than this !! Worst buses in the uk
Waited 1.5 hours for bus pickup at Stonehenge
We took the Stonehenge tour on a Sunday afternoon. Pickup at the train station at 12 noon and were dropped off at Stonehenge. The posted bus schedule on the website and brochure is supposed to pick up at :47 after each hour. After visiting Stonehenge, we were at the pickup location 20 minutes early. The bus never showed up as scheduled. We waited another hour. When the bus came, I mentioned this to the driver and he said it wasn't his route. He gave me contact information "to try to get a refund". Because of the bus delay, we were not able to go to Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta because it closed before we arrived back in town. The tickets to Cathedral are good for another day, but we were flying out of London the next day and could not go. The driver couldn't have cared less. I contacted the tour company and their excuse was traffic. Well, it was a Sunday afternoon, Salisbury is a small town, and we did not experience any traffic delays to or from Salisbury to Stonehenge. I did not receive a partial refund as requested. I would not recommend this tour company because the bus service is not reliable as posted.
Worst app ever misleading information…
Worst app ever misleading information brought the wrong bus ticket because of advice given on the silly app and ended up paying twice wasn't a cheep day anyway this just made It far worse thankfully lovely helpful bus drivers
Driver said sorry for late arrival
Even though the bus was late the driver made a point of saying he was sorry for being late at the end of the day it is not his fault with all the road work every where. It was the 18-40 12 service from Melvin road he was about 7 mins late

I want to show some recognition to More…
I want to show some recognition to More bus driver 8928. I witness him do some good deeds this morning. Picking up the mistakes from two other bus drivers. The driver stopped for a pregnant lady after she actually put her arm out the bus in front, he also waited to let me in when I was going to get the 8.19 am from southbourne cross roads but that driver decided to carry on his journey even though he was early so the 8.11 although was 2 minutes late didn’t just leave. He also let a young boy on going to school when he card didn’t work and not leave him in the cold. It shows he cares about his customers and not just driving a bus. He really went above and beyond today. So thank you :-)
Awful bus services and bus availability
Awful bus services and bus availability
I waved down a bus like you normally would only to be responded with a shake of the head as they drive past me. This is the only bus in my area that goes to the place I want at this time. This is unacceptable. There needs to be more buses available .
Good job Alex Bird 👍
Just had a journey driven by Alex Bird one a morebus to bmth Uni. He was incredibly polite and friendly with everyone who got on the bus, dressed very smartly and driving very well - safe, quick off the mark, clearly paying attention to the road and working hard! Made my day,
Thanks mate 👍
Saturday 21/9/24 just gone 6.25pm from…
Saturday 21/9/24 just gone 6.25pm from studland to swanage train station. When we first got on the bus we asked the driver what time was the last bus back?the driver replied 8ish as we have moved to our winter time table. On exiting the bus my wife went to check the time table to see what time the last bus left swanage to studland but before she reached the board another bus driver said that the last bus to studland had left. I would have thought that the bus driver would have known the timetable especially as he asked on boarding if we wanted a return. I am very annoyed as we had to get a taxi back at a cost of £20.what a pathetic company!
Their own staff should know what their timetables are.
Trip to Christchurch from poole
Trip to Christchurch from poole, return journey after opthalmic eye drops, couldn't read or see much at all. I received so much help from the drivers of the 1c bus and the M1 buses. Very much appreciated. Thank you so much. A credit to your service.
