Hardware quality on these Hex panels is excellent - solid build and they look fantastic on the wall. However, the app needs work. The UI feels clunky and unintuitive. Great lights, frustrating software.

Placed the order back in April, then they kept stating shipping delays and giving fake tracking info.

I placed an order on the 1st of August. It was apparently dispatched a couple of days later but - like many others - it never was. Every single e-mail response is a lie.

They just create a tracking number so you think it's been sent, but it hasn't.

I did a chargeback through my credit card - make sure you do the same, and don't leave it too long.

The lighting effects inside the crystal cube are genuinely stunning and it adds a cool vibe to my desk setup. However, I have to be honest - it is definitely smaller than it appears in the ads, which was a little disappointing.

Obviously a scam . I payed this lamp 1 year ago still didn’t get anything. They’ll send me a weard Chinese tracking link that doesn’t do anything. I wish I read the reviews before spending 70 dollar on this scam

I put the neon hex packs up on my gaming wall and wow, they are WAY brighter than I expected! Messing around with the modular layout is actually really fun and everything works perfectly. 🔥

Just got my lamp delivered and I was honestly shocked by the build quality; it's got some real weight to it and doesn't feel like cheap plastic at all. The color transitions are buttery smooth, too.

122 days after ordering. Still nothing, same bullshit about shipping than everyone else. Total scam of course.

Shipping took about 10 days for my halo lamp, which was a bit slower than expected. The build quality is amazing though, so it was worth the wait!

The halo lamp looks awesome - the design is way cooler than others I've seen. I do wish the app had a music sync feature, but it's still a super unique piece!

Its been mutiple months since ive placed my order, the support team keep sending templated replies whenever I ask about it and the tracking company have not been any more helpful. Seems like they just took the money to fund the product but then were never able to deliver on it

I ordered a lamp online, and it never arrived. I've emailed them several times and only reviving vague excuses why. I keep asking for a refund, which they refuse to acknowledge.

I have ordered a product from them in August. Still havent received anything. They cant give me an update and blame the logistic company. Dont ever buy from them.

I thought it was a scam because I didn't receive any order update for 3 weeks after it said it shipped. I finally received the lamp after 6 weeks.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MOONSIDE DESIGN. Here is what will happen:
1. They will take your money
2. They will not ship the product (even after numerous follow ups after 30 days, then 60 days)
3. They will blame it on the shipping company's backlog (false, many companies ship their products with no issue, and very little delay)
4. They will not agree to refund, they will ask you to "bear with them while they work with the shipping partner".

The company will delete (or remove their whole post) from their Instagram profile if you ask any reasonable questions in regard to:
1. Do they actually have any of the lamps in stock.
2. After 30-60 days, ask why they won't simply process a refund for not receiving the item.

In summary, Moonside Design exhibits obstructive behaviour, does not wish to attempt to meet consumer law obligations in the countries they ship to, and will falsely advertise that your item will ship.

The sad thing is, Instagram allows businesses like this to perpetuate their scam like behaviour by appearing as a legitimate business.

Avoid at all costs.

Similar experience as many other comments here. I did actually receive the product but the 3D lampshade arrived cracked. They agreed to send a replacement but that was back in August and the tracking status never progressed since then. Have asked for a refund via PayPal. It's a lot of trouble to go through for a 3D printed item.

I'm NOT happy with my experience with Moonside Design.

I put an order in with them in early Jun 25 for three light products. No updates on shipping status for over a month. When I inquired with them in early July, I was told that two of the items were actually pre-orders (not noted in their ads or online store).

The third item, the Neon Lighthouse and base, finally shipped and was received by mid July. Overall, it's a decent product, albeit with some bugs. I will say that Moonside did get back with me via email, in only a day or two, to help me resolve a technical glitch I was having with the Lighthouse

I never heard back about the other two products. When I inquired in mid September, I was told I'd get an updated status soon. Never heard back from them. At that point, I was done with them. I filed a dispute with PayPal who refunded my entire purchase price for the order.

This company is either an outright scam, or completely incompetent. In either case, it doesn't speak well of them. It's a shame as the Neon Lighthouse, even with its quirks, is a neat device. I was looking forward to their other products. However, no product is worth this level of aggravation. As such, I suggest you avoid Moonside Design like the plague.

Scam company, fake 5 star reviews. They never deliver your order, never refund you, and they always give the same bullshit answers in emails.

AVOID and save your money :)
