Dreadful customer service, disappointing product
In December 2025 I ordered a roller ball pen for my husband as a Christmas present. When he opened it, I was incredibly disappointed. It had been sent with the wrong cartridge and the script (his name) was very small, not as shown on the image when ordering. I emailed numerous times without a response and then followed up by telephoning customer services. I was told that the image on the website was a mock-up and that I shouldn't have expected it to be the same on the actual pen! I was advised that we had no recourse with regard to the engraving but I did eventually receive the right cartridge some weeks later. I will never order anything from Montblanc again and would not recommend them. Although the customer services representative very polite he was ineffective; I asked to be put through to a superior but was passed back to the original customer service advisor as apparently there was nothing further the company would do. This is not how a premium, well known and respected brand responds to a genuine complaint.
