The only reason I'm giving this a 3 star is because I ordered the product 8 days ago which if you speak to monport they say 6-10 days for delivery compared to the 3-5 the website says. I was happy with that, the only issue I have is got a notification today to say that it was awaiting shipment. Happy days I'm away, 200miles away so it's no issue 2 hours later the delivery guy is at my house with the laser. It's just crazy there is no communication to the customer on when it will be delivered had to make a 8 hour round trip to secure it as it was left in my garden and £3000 product just being left outside property is crazy. Update.... After using the laser for a few weeks it's a great piece of kit just needs an adaptor for the small vents fitted to most properties

Placed an order on 12/31 during holiday sale, paid with credit card verified with online statement showing charges completed. Expected some sort of correspondence from Monoport Laser verifying the order, to date no e-mail or communication informing me of my order status. Attempts to log in on website by clicking on human icon results with nothing, cannot log in with registered email supplied at time of placing order, phone calls and emails to support go unanswered for last 7 days. Beginning to think was a bad Idea purchasing from Monoport, what is service going to be like is purchasing is off to terrible start?
Update 1/13/2025: Monport made contact to resolve the issue providing explanation for lack of communication. The following days after have been met with timely responses and solutions, it's clear that Monport wants to keep a good business relationship and provide a solid reputable product. Its was made clear to Monport on the reasons why timely responses are important for sales and support if they wish to keep my business both present and future. Thank you Monport for taking extra effort to rectify this situation, tracking number provided so time will tell by Monport's following actions and support.

I have purchased a Monport 60W CO2 Laser engraver & cutter with autofocus on August 21st, 2024 and I still haven't receive it over 3 months after I have purchased and paid in full. I left several messages by email and by phone but absolutely no luck and no answer from the company. I am trying to get a full reimbursement from them and again, no answers nor option to send me another machine. This is the worst financial transaction I have ever done and I would strongly recommend to avoid doing any business with Monport.
To the Monport head office in Seatle WA, if you want respect from your consumers, starts by offering a decent follow up on your merchandise especially when people pays several thousand of dollars to acquire your business and equipment.

I placed my order during an early black friday deal. I received a large chiller but did not recieve the laser for weeks after. What wasnt clear is that the chiller has no use for the Desktop Onyx laser cutter and if i was to purchase the laser on its own without chiller it would have been cheaper! I now have an industrial size chiller with no use! The laser finally arrived after a lot of emails sent to support who responded with generic automated responses. When i opened the laser it came damaged with the camera falling apart off the unit and wires hanging. Furthermore the lid of the laser won't fully close shut. I have to push it down with some force. I have contacted customer support on numerous occasions. Sent them emails and tried chat options, sent the photos of the damaged product but still waiting to hear back. I was looking forward to the purchase and now wish I hadn't bothered. I want the issue resolved or I will need to contact my bank for a refund, as this is not acceptable on such a large purchase.

Monport has exceeded my expectations in every way. Even when shipping issues came up (which was not their fault), they were immediately able to help me. Great people and will continue to do business with them in the future. My laser cutter works amazing.

Monport is probably a very tiny, very sketchy company that makes low quality lasers for cheap.
I got a special project and needed to get a laser. I had two months leeway. I ordered a K40 Desktop laser from Monport on August 7/2024 (The project started in October). My credit card was charged, but I received zero communications of any kind (credit card was billed, but I didn't even get a confirmation email).
A few weeks later I asked when the laser would ship. "No idea, thank you for your patience." A dozen emails like that later, I asked for a refund. They refused. I talked to the bank. Monport then said they couldn't stop the shipment because it was with logistics and shipping was imminent. Fortunately, banks in Canada are pretty responsive to what seems like potential fraud (or at least sketchy practices).
Two months later I still didn't have my order, but the bank has refunded the charge.
It's been over three months. I doubt I'll ever see the Monport laser I ordered, but at this point that seems preferable (I did order a competitor's laser which arrived FASTER than promised and works a charm).

I have tried to talk to support the just answered the have asked for it internaly nothing since then. Cant say anything about the product but customer service is horrible. I really hate it and feel scammed. No Info about why IT IS taking that long or when the laser will be sent. Therefore 1 star since i couldnt select 0 stars. Still really looking forward to using this.
Update 10.12.24:
The laser still is NOT delivered! I have had communication with the support and they told me it was gonna be delivered within 2 weeks and i got a 200€ refund for my two months of waiting at that point. After that nothing. Two weeks is over by yesterday and i pinged support again. They answered today that it will be another 2-3 weeks without a reason for the delay or what so ever. When i clicked buy on the website there was no special info on delivery time and a week after that it was 35 days. Right now we are 2,5 months in. i will keep you posted. Only order if you dont really need the machine and its just for fun I guess.

It is very hard to get hold of someone and get the assistance needed. Machine magnetic limit sensor broke 3 months ago and it is still broken. The issue has been going back to an engineer and still waiting to hear from engineering. Latest answer is that Monport will provide a new limit switch and a video on how to replace it. Still waiting on both the video and the new limit sensor.
UPDATE
Received the video and limit switch, was able to make the machine functional again. Video helped but was not 100% clear and for some unknown reason it would not open in full screen.
If I had the opportunity to do this all over again, I would choose a seller that has an actual office with actual Tech Support in a location that has regular hours and staff that answers the phone.
