A system that fails and cannot be corrected

- Buggy interface when re-registering wallets after removal: the system says the wallet “belongs to another profile” — which is not the case. Result: I can no longer use any wallet unless I create a new one every time.

■ Identity verification relies on Onfido. My valid passport was rejected because it supposedly lacked a signature… even though that type of passport doesn’t include one.
- What’s surprising is that there seems to be no way to challenge this. A legitimate document is rejected, the external provider’s decision stands, and the account is closed.
- The process ends up feeling less like verification and more like a system where obvious inconsistencies cannot be corrected.

If you’re in the EU and into crypto

If you’re in the EU and into crypto, this is a super handy tool for exchanging crypto and euros. It’s free, fast, and fully secure (backed 102%). The fact that I can use it directly for everyday spending with my GnosisPay Card is a nice bonus.

My go-to crypto on and off ramp!

Got an invite when it was in invite only but since then it's open for all. The ability to use my very on IBAN connected to my wallet is insanely useful. Finally a financial services tailor made for web3. This is the company to bet on to shape the future of finance

The best EUR stablecoin out there!

Using EURe for the past few months, and it’s been super reliable. Happy to see a compliant euro token that actually works.
Zero Fees, Instant payments, EUR I can use in DeFi. Get a 6-15% yield in Balancer and Aave. Transfer in my own name.
Recommended for anyone in Europe, by far the best!

Unfortunately I join the others

Unfortunately I join the others. A few payments went through fine. Then they limited the account. They wrote me an email saying they were canceling my account and returning the money to the sender. They damaged me by 210€... I do not recommend it, I had to beg them to accept my own money.. Horrible service, avoid it

Dear Peter,

In some instances, this may involve requesting additional documents. This process helps us verify the legitimacy of transactions and safeguard our users and platform.

Worst banking experience ever

Monerium blocks transferred funds (even smaller amounts) due to ridiculous reasons. You´ll end up justifying the source of the funds and having a lengthy, tribunal-like discussion with support. They´re even sniffing around your blockchain activity. Worst banking experience ever.

Super sketchy

Super sketchy. They keep blocking my transactions. It's my legally owned, taxed money. Blocked a transaction a month ago for like 4 days, now I've sent myself from one of my accounts to Monerium and it's blocked again.

I'm not sure whether they just want to snoop around, whether their service is just super unreliable, or if it's just simply a scam.

Worst thing is I ordered a Gnosis Pay Card which uses monerium EURE tokens on their backend, but if topping up your account always is so painful, I just prefer using a regular bank.

Web 3.0 is doomed to fail with companies like that giving it a bad reputation.

It simply works, it's perfect!

It simply works! You get an IBAN where you can receive EUR and it is converted to EURe. You can convert it back to EUR or to any other crypto in the network of your choice (Ethereum or Polygon) using a DEX. It can receive immediate transfers in EUR. You can send the EUR to any other IBAN account, and the IBAN account is nominative. It is simply perfect !!
I hope EURe is supported in more DEX and CEX soon, and it would be great if you can easily convert EURe to other popular cryptos in their platform (USDT, USDC, MATIC, Ether...).

Excellent

Wonderfull app to enter Web3 easy and inexpensively. After KYC is done, you request a Monerium IBAN which is associated to your web3 address. Sending EUR and the smart contract automatically mints EURe. You can send EURe to your regular IBAN and the smart contract will burn the EURe into EUR itself. Fast and no fees. Frictionless.
