While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. When a Brand Isn’t Worth Your Trust: My Experience
I ordered two dresses from Monclowa in mid-August. Despite choosing express delivery, they were shipped via ground delivery and arrived almost two weeks later. The clothes had a strange smell and came without tags. I thought, ‘Oh well, maybe it’s a small workshop or an individual trying to create their own brand.
The dresses didn’t fit, so I decided to return them the next day. I followed all their requirements – sent an email, included photos of the items, and finally received an address where I had to return the package at my own expense. I was even offered to keep the items and receive 10% of the purchase value back, that means €16 :)
Anyway, I sent the items back, and that’s when the email ping-pong began. ‘Something unexpected’ happened in the return process, Emily kept repeating, until eventually, they stopped responding altogether.
It’s now been two months since I returned the items, and they still refuse to refund me. I highly discourage anyone from taking the risk and, frankly, suggest staying far away from this shop.
