MGC is a great resource. I’m only partially through the course (still working on syncing my hands TBH) but so far it’s great. Clear, informative and Lukas has a easy to follow approach. Would definitely recommend and worth every penny.

I am currently only 1/3 in with MGC but already I can tell it has helped me develop my playing. I need consistency and deadlines, and I really feel a lot more motivated following a structured course instead of noodling around on my own.

So far I have only one slight with the programme. Concerning the scales and writing solos using them, I'd really like to see more exercises on how to get better acquainted with the neck and feed one's creativity while doing it. So I've needed to come up with the exercises myself.

My former guitar teacher told me to come up with solos by restricting the available notes in the beginning and increase the amount and breadth of the scale as the solos progresses. So what I've done to learn the pentatonic scale all over the neck is:
– Put on a backing track of a single chord and a simple beat.
– Start in one position and only in the lowest octave, so the lowest three strings.
– Next I venture between the first two positions, often moving with slides.
– Then finally I utilize also the upper octaves, so the highest three strings.
– Then I repeat the same thing, but start from the second position and move on to using the second and the third and so forth.

In the future, I wish to see more of these kind of exercises that feed the creativity along with learning scales.

Modern Guitar Course has helped me way more than i thought it would. I've gained speed and also I can create my own solos now. That course is really helpful and I would recommend it to everyone who is playing guitar.

I am nowhere near finished with the course and therefore I cant speak on the modules that i have not finished. However from what I have gone through so far I have noticed an improvement in my ability to play. The lessons are challenging yet simply explained so you can focus on practicing rather than rewinding a small portion of the video over and over again. Would definitely recommend to those who need advice to tone their skills with a guitar.

I’m just getting started in the course, but I already see that Lukas has a wealth of knowledge and experience that looks very well organized into courses that build in a way that makes sense. Lessons are well explained and he clearly cares about the quality and how the flow of the lessons are presented throughout the course. I’ve been playing guitar for years and I finally feel like I can move forward and progress consistently without straining to find a new lesson that will teach me new techniques.

Modern Guitar Course is awesome, and has incredibly valuable information. Everything is laid out in an order that makes sense and you can access anything any time. Lukas will do an introductory call with you over Zoom which was awesome. We talked about what I hoped to acheive and then he sent me a customized plan of what to focus on. He is really active in the Facebook group and in general has a lot to offer and teach about guitar. All of the excersizes are typically laid out to backing tracks and are created with some sort of actually melody so it's more like playing a song instead of just repetitive excersizes.

I have been playing for years and tried many online courses and Modern Guitar Course is by far the best one. I enrolled some weeks ago and I can already see good progress on my playing. The content of the course and videos from Lukas are simply excellent.

There’s also a facebook group with a great atmosphere for exchange and Lukas is sharing new content periodically.

Included in the course there’s an Accelerating call with Lukas which for me was totally motivating.

I really recommend it!

Need to say that this course is very helpful and well made. I was afraid that lessons will be too easy, like some tutorials on YouTube but lessons are challenging, refreshing, new and fun to play.

But this is clearly one of the best.
The way Lukas teaches is so practical and easy to understand. Great experience overall.
But please know, this is not adressed to beginners. You have to habe a solid skillbase to take the best efford out of this.

From the very first module you learn the essential building blocks that every player should know if they are trying to become an expert. This course will drive you to create your own music while learning, exponentially increasing your understanding of your instrument. Lucas' Modern Guitar Course is a fantastic and easy-to-follow course for guitarists who are looking to hit the next level. You get excellent teaching from Lucas and the delivery is friendly and fun. The production value is really good too, which is something missing from a lot of other courses.

I've been using this course for about a month now and I can see improvement in my playing. And I can recomend it to anyone interested in playing modern styles of metal and rock, but that doesn't mean it is only useful to people that wan't to play any other kind of music.

This course consists of 3 modules each focused on specific subject. First module has some cool warm up and hand sync exercises and few interesting tips for playing. Second module that is focused on theoretical concepts is where this course shines. Not only that you learn music theory but you also learn how to use it with 10 examples for each concept. And the last module is focused on guitar techniques that every modern guitarist needs to have in his arsenal of skills.

The best thing about this course is that you can contact Lukas every time you want and ask him a question or for advice on anything and he will always answare back. I also recommend joining private facebook group where Lukas always posts interesting licks and has interaction with all course members.

I've had the course for a few months now and can confidently say that it works for me. One of my biggest struggles was sweep picking and that has drastically improved. I also feel overall more confident in my playing after following the exercises and learning the licks.

Lukas has arranged lessons in such a way that you feel like you are being guided throughout, and I did not get the feeling of being lost at any point, therefore it was easy to follow along.

The course covers most important techniques that a modern guitarist would need, as well as necessary theoretical concepts to equip you with the right amount of knowledge to take your playing and understanding of the guitar to the next level.

I felt the content was more towards the advanced side, therefore I would recommend this to intermediate players looking to level-up their playing!
