I've have just retired and have decided to go back to doing a bit of modelling, after a 'few' years break! I was given a model as a gift, but needed the paints, glue etc.. I have never used an on line company for modelling before and, after a short search, ordered what I require. I placed the order at 23.27 on Thursday 15/12/16 and received the order at 11.30 on Saturday 17/12/16. 36 hours from order to delivery a week before Christmas. Excellent service! Thank you.

A4 softback book arrived in perfect condition, thanks to professional packing. I paid for it on Sunday and received it on Tuesday. Have also had similar, excellent service when purchasing model kits. Perfect condition and robust, professional packaging. Highly recommended, based on consistently above average service.

As the years pass I find that the already half-hearted customer service given by UK companies gets worse. Not with Modelsforsale however.

For several years i have made purchases from them without ever being the least bit unhappy. How many companies can you say that about?

Their website is easy to navigate and I am normally able to find what i want and see clearly that it is in stock.
Any enquiries i make are answered swiftly and accurately, as if they have actually read all of my message, not just the first sentence, like so many others do!
Their prices are very good and p&p is free at just £35.
Delivery is rapid as they use 1st class post even though it is usually free to me.
Packaging is second to none, without that horrible shredded newspaper or minute polystyrene balls.
They keep you informed by e-mail, so I don't feel like a mushroom and their website confirms this.
Altogether I feel like I get great value professional service but in a very personal and friendly way; like a family firm.

So why not try them if you haven't done so before, what have you got to lose?, actually it should be see what you have to gain! I complain when I am unhappy but when I am happy i believe in giving an honest appraisal too.

Bought two models and two sets of paints. Dispatched day after order. Clear communication along the way. Arrived day later. Used them before and they're always reliable and prompt. Best online model shop I've used.

My aircraft model kit arrived well packed and just before it arrived I recieved an e-mail apology for any delay due to the new year break minutes later a knock on the door and my order arrived , Thanks, I would order from this company anytime .

This is an outstanding model shop which has both new and secondhand kits and very reasonable prices.

Once again MFS have provided me with some hard to obtain kits, first was an RAF F4 and then a B24 both in 48th scale. Prices are competative and delivery first class.
