Avian Rogers
Avian Rogers, the owner of Moderne Builders, has another business on the side: home rentals. I've been to one of her houses at 2204 Acacia Rd W, Palm Springs, CA 92262 in Feb, 2021. Stayed there for 2 weeks. The house is very reasonable in size for 4 adults and a baby. Three bedrooms in one corner and one in the other (all houses in this development are ranch, single floor). Reasonable size kitchen, living room, pool, jacuzzi. The weather was great.
The problem with this house is that it stands right in the landing/takeoff route of the nearby airport. The planes start at 6:15 AM and end around 11 PM. You can see the low flying plane in all detail. And hear :).
We all 4 of us got bad skin rash/eruptions from the pool, so did not use it the second week.
The final stroke was that on the last day electric utility announced power outage from 8 AM to 4 PM. The owner advised us stay out of the house for that time. Clearly that would be a big problem with the baby, so we answered that we would leave and did. The owner refused to reimburse us the last day. I would avoid dealing with that woman.
