SeikoJust Day Date Royal Blue - Nice
Like most people, I was very sceptical at first. In the end I just bought one. To see how it is.
I have to say , I love this watch. It's just as described and looks like you see on screen. It's even better when worn. Keeps good time and looks good.
One small thing, in the dark the hands are difficult to see, maybe its the red luminescence. The hours light up fine. Really who looks at the time when they're asleep. ;-)

A moodys Mistake
From the first minute there were problems. Could not open the clasp and on the second day it lost 6 minutes and I could not open the crown to correct it.
Look great But that’s it !!
Badly made and really Bad quality.
Don’t buy anything from them.

Occasionally things go wrong and…
Occasionally things go wrong and problems are missed by the QC department. Sadly this happened to me and i was sent a watch with multiple issues. This is when the quality of a company is often truly revealed. Soon after sending video evidence of the problems i had a brand new replacement in my hands. The support team were courteous and responsive throughout - this is a company you can trust ;-)

Really nice watch for the price
Really nice watch for the price. I really love the Rolex Day-Date watch with presidential bracelet, but at near enough £12,000 I could never own one in a million years! The Moddy’s Seiko version looks almost identical and works really well. Took a couple of weeks to arrive but other than that, very please. 👍🏼

Evasive about shipping
Extremely evasive about shipping, tracking is not made available until the product arrives in the destination country. Effectively, there is no evidence of shipping until the last day or two which is very misleading. I was left with the impression they are trying to hide the origin country and they refused to say from where it came. It took over 3 weeks to arrive, not out of their terms but way too long to be shipping from Spain.
Product itself is acceptable, hence 2 stars instead of 1. The crown is the wrong style for the watch type, poor attention to detail. That is, apart from the strap, which is the lowest quality bonded leather, already peeling on arrival from the watch assembly process. They did replace it, but promised a better one. The same junk arrived after I chased it. and now they have stopped replying to me.
Note they offer a 20% discount on a 2nd purchase for leaving a positive review on TrustPilot. I’ll leave it to Trustpilot and the consumer to consider the implications of this.
Overall, avoid - it’s just too stressful, Similar products are available elsewhere, and in the end they are nothing special despite the nice photos and heavy marketing

Moddy’s response to this review, I regret to say, is a perfect example of their style of communication, which very nicely says nothing of substance and/ or misrepresents the truth. Facts: 1. Moddy’s failed to provide usable tracking information despite my repeated requests. For approximately 10 days after saying the item was shipped, no tracking or evidence of shipping was provided. To say tracking info is available at every stage and is available on the website is blatantly not true. To say that shipping is transparent is insulting 2. When tracking was finally made available it was only for the last mile courier in the UK 3. I have no issue with the time taken from order to delivery. My point is that the time taken, whilst also offering no usable tracking information for most of the journey, indicates that items are not being shipped from Spain. 4. The first watch strap was indisputably of the poorest quality 5. The replacement strap, which I was assured would be better quality, was identical, and the finish peeled off while fitting it 6. Moddy’s has not responded to me regarding this, despite several contacts 7. Moddy’s offers 20% discount for second orders in return for positive Trustpilot reviews.
I have dropped my rating to 1 star because of this response.

Watch too thick, poor quality replica distinguished from far away not worthed 300 euro in any case. Watch clasp and metal strap also poor quality and too flimsy. Watch dial is ok.. better to buy knockoff straight from Chinese manufacturer much better quality and cheaper.

Ordered a watch December
Ordered a watch December. One attempted deliver by Evri.
Evri has lost the package. Moody say Evri still have package and waiting for me to contact them.
I’ve contacted Evri numerous times they keeps saying package is missing and contact supplier.
Moody have ripped me off. They refuse to give a refund even though Evri admit package is lost. I have all the emails I can provide proof.
Just do not buy anything from this company.

I orded a Watch from Them 3 months ago
I orded a Watch from Them 3 months ago, to an address on a danish island, It took a little longer than I expected, and I wasn’t on that island anymore. So it got send back to them, and that’s okay that’s not their fault. I provided a new delivery address and a label was created. It’s now been almost a month, and every time I write to them I get the same automated message where they blaime the shipping company there’s no responsibility on their side plus when I look the tracking number up it doesn’t exist. It shouldn’t take longer than a week max to get send something from Spain to Denmark. I’m sick of them just laying the responsibility on someone else. I will write a new review if they get things in order very quick, because this is so unprofessional! And I either want my money or my watch within very short time. Do your job

We would like to clarify an important point regarding the delivery process: when a parcel is not delivered, it does not return back to us. In these cases, the watch remains stored at the local delivery company’s facility in your city, and it is kept there until the final delivery is completed.
For this reason, none of our watches are sent back to us in order to be re-shipped. Instead, what we do is provide the updated address directly to the local delivery company, and they are the ones who carry out the final delivery to the new address.
