I tried to order a Samsung S3 Ultra from MD. I am an expat living in Cyprus, but I wanted to have the phone delivered to family in the UK.
I ordered and paid for the phone. The order was cancelled by MD later that day. I called them and passed their security checks (I was told) so I ordered and paid again. This time the order was cancelled on the day of delivery.
I understand the need for financial security, but the whole matter was handled appallingly and without any warning.
I am still owed a refund for the second order, but at one point I was down almost £1k with only vague assurances that the bank were dealing with it and it could take up to 14 days to come through!

The orginal Google Pixel 10 was dispatched within ne day of ordering and unfortunately stolen from the DPD driver after a missed delivery. DPD. confimred the theft to MDO. the morning after (20.01) and a replacement was dispatcehd on 21.01 but Royal Mail to the same address according to policy; no problems with this dleivery. The Refurbished Excellent description was appropriate as my phone looked brand new and worked straight out of the box, perefectly after 100% charge. Excellent customer service and products, 100% receommended. No cahrge, manual or invoice sent, only a cable but, not crucial. 13 month warranty is impressive. You cannot reschedule or redirect delivery due to MDO. policy, follwing many probelms with alternative approaches; choose your address with care.

I’ve had a really upsetting experience with this mobile phone company and feel other customers should be aware.
I was treated as though I had done something dishonest. I was not given clear information or proper evidence to explain the accusation, which made the whole situation even more stressful and frustrating.
Being made to feel like you’ve committed fraud when you haven’t is incredibly distressing. Instead of support and clear communication, I felt blamed and left to chase answers myself. This has caused unnecessary worry and has really damaged my trust in this company.
I would advise anyone considering this provider to keep records of all communication and check their bills and account activity carefully. I hope the company improves how they investigate issues and how they treat loyal customers when problems arise.

Samsung s24 condition as described as new, very happy with the phone itself, love Samsung happy with my choice as always had them in the past, not a fan of the iPhone so went back to Samsung, overall very happy with this purchase, just wished the battery didn’t run so quick.🙂

I experienced both sides of this company's core services. In buying a new iPhone I was very impressed with the condition of the product, the smooth delivery, price paid Vs value and the level of communication. A thoroughly great experience. However, in selling my old iPhone to them I ran into a 4 week ordeal where my phone went missing in transit using this company's appointed courier - DPD. I received an automated message 2 days after the phone was picked up (from Mobile Direct) saying "Great news we've physically received and verified your iPhone 11 at our facility and have begun the detailed inspection process". To me this is a clear statement that the phone has arrived in tact. I was then told that the packaged had been tampered with in transit and that an investigation would be opened with DPD. Apparently the phone had a £1000 insurance policy associated with its DPD booking. Roll on 4 weeks later, 17 What's App messages, 3 failed attempts to ask for them to call me and discuss the situation (no phone call received despite saying they would call) and a clear legal responsibility to rectify the issue (Mobile Direct contracted DPD) finally the agreed phone valuation was paid (even had to chase final payment!). My point is - yes, things do go missing in transit sometimes but PLEASE handle this fairly with your customers. Mobile Direct should have paid the compensation within a few days of this coming to light, not 4 weeks later after multiple failures by DPD to investigate and come back with an outcome. Liability in this case rests with Mobile Direct and DPD, not with the customer. Please review your policy in these scenarios and instead of customers having to chase you please keep the customer informed and have the courtesy to personally call and speak to the customer, especially when you have said in a message you would.

The phone is exceptional. Easy to set up. I am delighted with it. The camera is sharp and it takes great pictures. I upgraded to this phone and couldn't be happier with it. I'm 58 and not to clever with the new technology, this is an ideal phone.

Excellent customer service. I had ordered a refurbished phone to replace my s21. Delivery was prompt within 2 days of ordering. I made an enquiry asking if charger was included and once again received a prompt reply to my email query. When the phone arrived it was in excellent condition. I had ordered the phone in a panic thinking my s21 had packed up but it was just a battery fault and was able to get my old phone working. So once again I sent a further email asking if it was possible to return the new phone and get a full refund aside had managed to get my old phone working. I received a prompt reply with clear instructions on how to return the phone. I returned the phone yesterday by royal mail and today I have received confirmation that they have received the phone back and will process my refund. Excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to purchase a new phone from them when my current phone packs in. Once again thanks for all your help and excellent service
