Poor company image
Managers attitude was abysmal and rude. Burst a pipe in Derby and couldn’t give a toss that our water was off.

Must be the worst civils/ groundworks company out there. I watch the circus performance they put on daily where I live. I wouldn’t trust them to sweep my garden path let alone lay kerbs 😂😂😂 I am also sick of them blocking my driveway.
Be wary of this company. I highly recommend you read this review before dealing with them.
My wife went to the doctors and was unable to park in the disabled parking spot due to the inconsiderate driver of this van.
She had to park further away, struggling to walk up a slight hill to the surgery, which is not good for her condition.
On the way she noticed the van parked in the disabled space had no disabled badge on display and decided to take a photo, while doing this she also noticed an open can of Stella on the dash.
While doing this she noticed the gentleman walking back from across the road, possibly from the bar you can see in the background as his breath had a tinge of alcohol on it, but this could have been from the can of Stella.
The man wanted to know what her problem was with taking photos of his works van.
She explained that he was clearly parked in a disabled space, and to all intense purposes not even using the surgery, pointing out the car park is for patients and staff only, the store car park is across the road.
The man chuckled and said “I had no idea I was in a disabled spot”; he wasn't aggressive, just passive rude with a couldn't care less attitude and made no attempt to apologise, move or deny anything, he simply turned his back towards her.
After witnessing his attitude, she decided she would email his company, however, after getting no response she mentioned the whole thing to me.
I decided to research the company and found they have a VERY bad reputation for driver complaints.
In total they have 15 negative reviews about bad driving, 2 for bad attitudes, 4 complaints about other things, 1 negative employee and 6 unknown bad ratings.
The positive ratings boosting their score come from 4 employee reviews and 14 other 5 star reviews most of which have zero to five words, which tells me they just wanted to avoid a 1 star rating by asking employees and a few others to put some 5 star ratings on here.
But it doesn't stop there, on Facebook they have 5 fake reviews that look like investment scams, 2 abusive, rude, and poor workmanship reviews, another 2 comments for bad driving and a bad driving review.
Out of all this only ONE person received a response from the company, compared to many others who have said the company has ignored their complaints.
Some of their bad driving reviews are horrendous.
When I looked at the company website and saw they have a core values page I nearly cried with laughter, please forgive the sarcasm, but if you have something like this you should uphold it.
It clearly states in the first box "Integrity" and then mentions doing the right thing, act in a trustworthy way, and treat people with respect.
This is clearly something they intended to do but are seriously failing at, you only have to read through the reviews and comments for yourselves, look at the photos and you will see how truly awful this company is.
The next image was "Collaboration" which mentions developing strong relationships, support, looking after each other, be approachable, actively listen and a few others.
Again, good intentions are wonderful, but actions speak louder than words, this company seriously needs to rethink and look at the way it deals with people.
If you are looking to do business with this company, I highly recommend you ask yourselves seriously if you should look elsewhere.
If they are this bad with all these things, then you must ask yourself about everything they do.
We all make mistakes, we know companies have people within them that make mistakes, but for me the biggest thing is how they are dealt with, and this company seems to ignore everything and accepts the poor attitudes, standards, and driving by its employees.
They even ignore their own core beliefs; this is why I have invested the time to write such a review.
I hope that they read this and decide to make positive changes, hopefully the sooner the better.
All those complaints deserve to be heard, answered, and action taken against those responsible.
