I cannot recommend MKM Leeds Branch highly enough, especially Mally. Throughout my home extension project, he has been professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Mally went above and beyond to recommend the right products, organise everything I needed, and ensure deliveries were timed perfectly around my busy schedule.

On one occasion, I was at work during a delivery, and with Mally’s advice I provided instructions and images of where items could be left. To my surprise, the driver went the extra mile and neatly stacked everything in my garage — something I’ve never experienced with other suppliers.

The whole experience has saved me time and stress, and it’s clear that customer care is a real priority at MKM Leeds. I will 100% be recommending Mally and MKM to anyone looking for reliable and professional service.

Excellent advice and service from Paul at the Sleaford branch. He was very knowledgeable and advised me brilliantly regarding my stud work/tools and processes that he'd used. Also, the best value that I've found. I can not recommend this branch enough. 5 stars.

Waited around 3 weeks for an incorrect cabinet. They delivered a larger cabinet than one on my quote because the one requested was out of stock. I did not know it was the incorrect size until there was an attempt to install it. So they tried to charge me an additional 50% for a replacement in the correct size but different colour because the item I ordered was no longer in stock. After establishing that the wrong cabinet was delivered, they did offer a replacement at no extra charge. However, they only had a different colour in stock and the one I needed was no longer available. Despite this, they disputed there was no inconvenience and I should have checked the item was correct. No apologies for their own staff not checking they received the right item and excuses it as normal. After back and forth communication did they finally offered me a 50% refund on the incorrect item.

Had I total bathroom refit supplied by mkm Bridgend . Matt came and measured up and designed a bathroom for me . He consulted with the fitter and delivered the materials when needed . High quality ,low price .excellent service from start to finish . would highly recommend

We recently purchased a kitchen from MKM Shrewsbury. We were looked after by Beccy who designed the kitchen ( I think it was her first design for the company). The quality and finish of the kitchen cabinets is very good but it was the customer service that made all the difference - contact was easy, nothing was too much trouble and anything that needed to be done was done efficiently and timely. The delivery drivers are also friendly and helpful - deliveries came when they were supposed to and things were well packed. If Becky was not available then Dan was always able to assist. Everyone in the store was friendly and keen to help.

I think I need a new bathroom after seeing the Brad Pitt lookalike delivery driver at Wildene Drive ;-)

*** Edit*** Updated my review as I had a phone call from mkm wakefield after leaving the review. They advised they hadn't received the email and after looking into it the email address on Google was incorrect. I sent them the intended email an extremely helpful sales advisor(Katie M) contacted me again and couldn't apologise enough for the damaged goods and did everything she possible could to rectify the issue. Sometime things go wrong but it's how a company rectifies it that makes the difference. I have since put another order in through Katie and had no issues. Thanks again Katie for the help, you've completely changed my view on mkm and I shall definitely use you again. ***

First and last time I'll use MKM building supplies wakefield. 2 of the 3 lengths of 3.6m timber were so damaged down the face they couldn't be used (see pictures). I order 25 lengths of roof batten and 8 of them all bowed and twisted, which again couldn't be used. When the delivery driver arrived he was asked if it could be left to the side of the drive to allow me to get the car on. He literally left it across the drive and lent up again the builders sack, so makes sense as to why the battens were all bent. 100% do not waste your money. I've used other suppliers since who are not only cheaper but actually care about their customers. I emailed mkm wakefield with my issues and they didn't even reply. I never usually leave bad reviews but this definitely warranted it.

The most unprofessional company I’ve dealt with !!
Made an order, paid in full & booked a delivery day (Saturday morning) I then arranged 2 x builders for the day.
By 11 am order hadn’t arrived so rang to chase it up as MKM close at 12 noon.
Well, well, well….my order wasn’t on the delivery list and was never going to be !!!! Reason ? They’d lost the order sheet?
How can an order that’s been booked in be missed? Absolutely disgusting. I had 2 x builders hanging around all morning with nothing to do, but obviously still needed paying. Didn’t get offered any compensation for loss of money so cancelled and had a refund. This is not the first time they’ve let me down but it is the last. We have Jewsons, Fearn’s, B&q, Keyline, John A Steven’s who have been around for years with no problems. I know where I’m going in future.

Received top services from the guys in the Gloucester branch. They were also friendly, professional and knowledgeable on the products I was looking for. Made arrangements to get my purchase delivered same day.. what more could you possibly ask for ? Will definitely be back to buy more

The Canterbury branch MKM is the best! We are so thankful Jack and Darren both have immensley helped us even arrange haulage delivery for asap reasons

We have done a quater of an acres drive way and abit of patio. Mkm sorted everything out even after delivery they ring you to ensure you are all happy and fine. The customer service is brilliant i am so glad and thankful for everything you guys have done going above and beyond. No matter what you want done they can do it but they park in the middle of the road and blocking people from getting in and out.

I attended the Haverhill store to collect a new stop tap. I do not know who I spoke to regarding installing the new valve but got great support on what I would need regarding pipe reducing components. Really great advice and very impressed with the friendliness and support with the staff at Haverhill. Thank you!

Just dealt with the Retford branch and I have to say it was a genuine pleasure from start to finish to speak with a great salesperson and a superb delivery guy (sorry I didn't get your name) - 5* and PERSONAL service too. Being called by your name doesn't sound like a big thing, but with the internet being so impersonal, when it happens it feels like a big deal. Would I buy again...in a heartbeat. Their prices are good too and a free delivery for a single bag of top soil?! Hard to find anyone as reliable (delivered the day they said) and gone within 5 minutes. It was even a pleasure to watch the expert delivery guy at work. He went above and beyond to make sure it was positioned exactly where I wanted.

Went into branch to order some blocks, explained delivery would need to be next to a banking over a hedge ,I said can u use your biggest vehicle with arm. He replied we only have one size vehicle it will easily do the job. Following week delivery arrived, driver then informed me the arm won't reach, you should have asked for the bigger truck he said. Obviously annoyed i was informed that they couldn't rearrange there an then an just wait for a phone call. 30 mins later while out i get a text saying my delivery on the way, rush home no delivery so I ring only to be told by the worst customer service lady ever, we didn't send u a text. Lol. And also told me how are we supposed to know what size truck to send! Bottom line. There delivery set up is a joke. They don't listen to customers. They don't care one bit if something goes wrong. Still no apology. Still waiting for my blocks.and now they've cancelled delivery after waiting in all day they ring me at 345pm to say we're sorry we can't come today. Wait to see if it comes tomorrow .Absolute joke of a company.

I was thoroughly impressed with the Service. Claire was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She made everything so easy and nothing was too much bother for her. She made MKM a real pleasure to deal with.
All the items that we ordered arrived as expected and fitted perfectly, which made the installation smooth and stress free. It's clear that attention to detail and customer satisfaction are business priorities.
I'd definitely recommend MKM and Claire particularly to anyone planning a kitchen redesign.
Fantastic service from start to finish.

I’m right on the edge of my local MKM’s delivery area. Unfortunately whilst where I live is well covered by several ‘big’ merchants no one seems interested in smaller orders.
I’m only going 4 star due to communication and lead time of the order - but I feel that calling my local branch would have been significantly better than online.
I ordered online and had the standard ‘thanks for your order we’ve taken your money and your local branch will contact you’ reply which is fine, but I ordered on Monday (10am) and hadn’t heard anything so called them on Friday.
Quick and pleasant call and was told I was penciled in for Tuesday. Confirmed that was fine as I’d ordered a fortnight ahead.
Still no contact and online account showing “in progress”
Tuesday arrived and no change in order status, goods did arrive so I can’t complain but no email or call to confirm.
So essentially if you’re ok with an 8 day delivery and a hope and a prayer that it’ll arrive on time then all is good 👌🏼😂

The wrong item was ordered. The driver offered to take it away and replace with the correct product. Customer service was excellent throughout.

Real good people to deal with .Ellis Jones the lad I dealt with couldn’t do enough to accommodate my delivery slot. The driver was very good negotiating the rear lane which can be difficult. Defiantly recommend MKM above any other builders merchants

Absolutely rubbish I ordered stuff last week 15th May it never arrived rang up they say my goods are not on the system which is a dam right lie the £168 has come out of my bank but they refuse the refund so now going through my bank to get it back apparently they have done this to a lot of people.
