I have dealt with a number of builders yards in my time, most knowledgeable and helpful.

None have came close to the service I receive at MKM Peterhead.

Gavin is particularly good, giving same day quotes, next day delivery and calling to advise on the rare delay.

The delivery drivers take the time and effort to chat as they unload, remembering conversations past.

The office staff call to advise when to expect delivery.

This branch is a credit to the company and an example to others.

Hull was a waste of time. Really good show room but little else. Spent a few hours their then recieved a quote that said kitchen but it was for bathrooms. Quote with no details as to what the description was so plumber couldnt order as product not known. Called several times no reply no one returned my call.

A really disappointing experience that had all started off so well. We ordered a high-end bath from MKM, which arrived in just a few days and was delivered by an incredibly friendly driver. The bath turned out to be too narrow to comfortably sit in (and we're only of average size) so we asked for our options on a return.

This is when it all turned sour.

MKM said that since they'd had to specially order the bath in, their supplier would be charging us a 25% restocking fee. Not only had this never been stated in any T&Cs, but MKM also failed to understand that our contract was never with their third party supplier and that we couldn't be forced to agree to their additional terms. Upon making this clear, the restocking fee was magically dropped and so we returned the bath to MKM Chichester. Where we should have then received a refund, MKM refused to issue it until their supplier had collected the bath from the branch - a clear breach of our consumer rights under distance selling regulations. Branch directors Richard and Peter refused to engage in any discussion of this and only issued the refund a week later. Sales manager (also Richard) gave me the standard "I'm just doing my job mate" excuse and that was the end of our experience with MKM.

Found the staff in my local branch very helpful and the advice they gave was the best solution for me. Thank you MKM

A family member recommended this company for my paving. MKM Chichester assisted me with my order, and the collection was made by our landscape contractors. Very efficient and the paving is great quality would definitely recommend.

I was unsure on what paint and products to purchase from my local MKM, a lady who worked there took her time to explain the products in detail, advise on what I needed and took the time to open some sample paints so I could match them up. The lady always serves customers with a smile and a great attitude, she’s a credit to MKM.

I cannot fault the company, quality of the product or the driver. We had a tricky place to off-load the bags, desperately hoping they could off-load in an awkward place, at the back, at the top of a hill. The company were extremely accommodating, friendly on the phone, the driver exceptional in his help and advice, and (for someone who has never dealt with a building supply company ordering this quantity before) I found the whole experience 100% positive.
I've just got to wheelbarrow 100 loads down the hill now, rather than (as I feared) up hill. Thank you so much. Definitely using you again.

Bought some additional Symphony Kitchen units from MKM Wakefield. They all arrived on time and as per the order. Great service from Jasmin who resolved a couple of nuances we had with some older units. I would say that Jasmin went beyond the service we'd normally expect and we would use MKM Wakefield again without hesitation.

First class services from ordering and very helpful. Wasn't able to take all fence slat and rough sawn carcassing wood in car so did 2 runs but couldn't fit rough sawn wood in my wee A1, Josh was very helpful yard man and went to speak to someone they took my address and will try deliver tonight if a driver comes back in time if not will be tomorrow. I can't thank them enough. Have dealt with them a few times now and each time first class services your MKM Stirling branch are.

I bought a kitchen from mkm Birkenhead, dealt with a lovely lady called Carla, she was so helpful, an nothing was too much trouble. I had a fault with a plinth, it was only a slight mark which was prbably damaged in transit but told Carla an was sent replacement the very next day. Excellent customer service.

Ist time using MKM Stirling and never again. I am always loathe to write negative reviews but feel the need to warn others. Ordered a bulk bag of aggregate for home delivery, wasn't given a time but told it was going to be pm. Driver arrived unannounced 8am and just as well as I checked as it was the wrong aggregate. It was sent back, I went to the store to find out what went wrong,was told the one we ordered was never in stock anyway and they substituted another aggregate - without informing us first. We ordered another bag for delivery, was told it would be Tuesday, waited in all day - never arrived. Went to store next day to cancel order, staff completely indifferent, not a hint of an apology. Sorry MKM, but your customer interaction skills are zero.
Plenty of choice in Stirling area, don't choose MKM.

Great price and speedy delivery. I made a mistake with my order and they replaced it no quibbles and very quickly.
Will definitely use again and highly recommend them

In need of refreshing our patio area and initially set about this on the Internet. Then had the good sense to call into MKM in Norwich and spoke with Kevin. With his invaluable advice and patience I was able to select the sandstone slabs I required (and see and touch them for real - in contrast to my search efforts on the Internet). A fair price was given and delivered as promised. A positive and satisfying experience.
